i along with most other people dont want to be stuck in the position of choosing to prestige or to keep our thousand dragons. But, will prestige always be completely useless? More resource production is completely useless in the endgame which is building dragons and population. If prestige gave something like a attack bonus or timer percentage reduction or something else that'd make it worth it

So I'm still playing every now and then would be more often but as I previously said I dislike leaving the app open just to regen resources.

My question is about prestige how does it work here? Is it like other games where your whole game kind of starts from nothing again and you just get some bonus?

As to me that sounds horribly off putting for the game, I don't like spending days or weeks building something up just to start again with a bit of a bonus.

I read that they are increasing the prestige strength that should help making it worth it and as far as starting with nothing else, that is how prestiging works on other tappers/clickers. There has to be a reset made in order to get that additional strength and in the end gives the game some additional legs. It would suck if there was not some big hit in order to prestige and would ruin the game balance. It should be something the guys who have lots to lose something to think about.

I feel like I am being punished for having paid a lot of money on this game (I spent $70) and my strategy had been to advance in the raiding aspect of the game. I've raided all the way up to empire very quickly by spending most of my resources on knights and dragons.

This has caused huge issues now though because my population cant replenish quickly enough for me to grow my military forces. In fact, now that Im being matched with players who got to my level without paying, they have astronomically higher military power than me.

My population is quickly dwindling with concurrent 100K+ raids on me with 100+ dragons each. I cant replenish my population quickly enough and it wont be long before I have lost all my 200K troops and then it will start eating into my workers.

I feel like I'm being punished for having supported the creators and I know the main issue is that I've advanced to a level Im not realistically supposed to be at through P2W.

Can I somehow be rolled back to a town or city civilization? That way I will be able to keep enjoying this game and not have to deal with the frustration of being on an inevitable population downsize. The Empire level raids on me are too much for me to handle, even with my 200K knights and 32 dragons. I lost 40K knights my last one ;c

Love the game, just got dragons (was my last upgrade to get) and just became a nation! Love tappers and this one has definitely broke new ground! Question, is anyone else noticing that this app is a battery vampire? Seems to kill my battery quicker than any other app I have.

I learned that lesson too on dragons. The best thing for you to do is to prestige a build up and doing so being a little wiser. Don't use gold for dragons. If you use gold for anything I would use them for the quest timers as that speeds along your efficiency and gets you closer to the next prestige. Don't be eager to spend gold or to buy it. Get in the forums and read what people have been doing right or wrong so you can avoid the same mistakes. Let the buyer beware when buying gold and using it. Arm yourself with knowledge....not gold and dragons. This is a game of patience and if people I have read above just want to race through this then this is not the game for them. Build, reset, build, reset, and in doing a prestige you will lose your buildings and men... Including dragons. People on top and staying on top won't stay that way for long. People prestiging will have and advantage and they should.

Me too. I'm hopeful Michael and Will will find a way to allow resources to accumulate in the background while honoring their desire to reward people who play the game as opposed to people who installed it a long time ago, as they've said.

I spend days or weeks in Minecraft survival building stuff, then I get bored and throw it all away and start over from nothing. If there are more people like me, we're the ones who are okay with losing everything and starting over with some kind of buff.

Definitely. This is another reason to consider background resource accumulation.

I'm kind of new to this game; I just got it like three days ago. I focused most of my resources and workers on making farmers and military units. I think I quickly advanced. Back when I was a state and prior I was successfully raiding realms and such. I made a mistake though fighting an empire and losing all my troops although I'm slowly and steadily replenishing them. My problem is that I really want dragons in my army. I have more than enough piety and food to get 40+ dragons. The problem is that I don't have the research for the caves. Does anyone have a map of some sort of all the research options and what each leads to? And on another topic does anyone know exactly what prestiging actually does? Like is the buff for any resource of your choice and how much is the buff? Lastly, I'd like people to join my clan so here is the invite code if you're interested: NUNYH767

I waited almost a week for the dragon upgrade, and now I have to wait another 18+ hours for 10 dragons? Not happening, deleted. I've never seen timers this long.

That's just one day. Dragons should take some time....They are dragons! Make sure to build up your other forces too!

It's not a research tree like in some other civ-like games. As far as I can tell there's nothing you can do to progress faster...just research everything as fast as you can.

Also, you'll be disappointed if you want to build a squadron of dragons. Each one takes a couple of hours to make, and the only way to accelerate that is with gold. Lots and lots of gold. I think this should be changed. They're insanely expensive piety-wise and I think adding a delay on top of that is too much.

Prestiging resets all your population, buildings, research, troops, resources, *everything*. You keep gold and trophies. And after the upcoming update hits, you also keep cats. You choose something to be buffed. I picked piety. I can't really tell you how big a buff it is, but it's definitely enough to be noticeable.

I'm down to waiting for caves for 5 days. Every other upgrade seems to be finished. It's been two days now and I've kind of lost interest. I haven't played since I've been waiting. I guess the upgrades finishing kept me coming back but now everything's done. I could be building more population I guess... I think the 5 days to wait just kind of killed it for me...

Caves is the last upgrade, after I built them I got bored and haven't played it since then, having to keep the app open to get resources killed it for me, I just don't have the time in my day to leave it on and open wasting battery. I went back to tap Titans and Adventure capitalist as there games I can just check in on during the day for a minute here and there.

So I wasn't paying attention to my land and accidentally overcrowded the heck out of my people by 3000 lands. I quickly did a few raids to solve that problem but my population is staying angry with me. They were consistently blissful before. Does it just take a while to get them back to being content or is that particular group going to stay mad? The food production went WAY down in to the negative and I had to add population to get it back in to the positive. Will my distraught people ever come back?

Wasted a week on this garbage, built 1st wonder, pressed the prestige to see what it was, BOOM, a week of progress all in the garbage, what a POS this game is

Make sure nobody's sick, make sure all the bodies are buried. Then raid until their thirst for blood is sated.

Raiding did the trick. All were healthy and I had plenty of empty graves. After about 25 raids they were back to blissful. I could see their food productivity rise with each successful plunder. Thanks for the advice.

So I waited 5 Days for caves. Been preparing my piety since the beginning so I have piety to spare and then some. Ran with what food I had and made 73 dragons............5 DAYS 18hrs to finish....WTH over 10 days to get my first Dragons. Damn things better make my coffee in the morning too. Between having to leave my phone on for wonder progress and the idea that it takes so long to make dragons ( I have killed multiple with my army of just soldiers) I am quickly losing interest.
