There's something wrong with skulls - they keep disappearing after I go to the clan screen. eg I have 62 skulls, I win a fight, plunder 4 skulls, the skulls get added to my total so now I have 66 skulls on that screen (the battle/troops one). I can switch to another screen and switch back and I will still have 66 skulls, but as soon as I switch to the clan screen the newly plundered skulls disappear and I am back to 62. This has just started happening, it's very odd. It's just the skulls that disappear, not the rest of the plundered resources.

Humorously, with my upgrade configuration, I need 8.5 clerics (piety must pay off) 1.65 blacksmiths 1.65 tanners 50 loggers 50 miners (.65 surplus food per farmer, so 173 farmers) 1 worker per 290 population. I'm currently supporting 1 worker per 550 population, trying to protect myself from raids. Can't go on raids because I lose 1k warriors per dragon and there are a lot of dragons (why are there so many dragons?) THANKS, MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX!
Lol I agree with the post above I'm holding my breath on raids I'll wipe anyone out unless they have a dragon even 1 dragon and I'm done for : ( Anyway on the previous comment where you said resources don't generate while the app is closed because you don't want it to be about who's had the app longer that is completely fair and I agree. But couldn't things be adjusted as in have a new set of upgrades that increase the amount of resources you get from tapping? As 1 is just too low to bother as you progress and would be a bonus to people staying online, also most resources for me are from endless raids until my troops drop below a certain amount I like to keep so that's a bonus only for if your playing too. Resources regenerating while your off the game still requires you to launch often to spend them and set new buildings and upgrades ect. I just hate the feeling sometimes for instance like I wet out for a meal today and sat there on the way with the app open just so it could generate resources, I have to at home also just open the app and put the phone down....I like raiding but sometimes your waiting on new population and there's nothing you can do but watch resources build up. I still like the game as I love kind of empire management and building things up, for me even I wish it were even deeper and more hardcore. The more upgrades and choices and extra things the better, it's just my view as to why I dislike everything stopping when you close the app.
But you already do get more than +1 resources per tap when you have some of the later updates. That's all fair criticism, and we'll definitely keep it in mind. We've been making a lot of tweaks behind the scenes, and we'll keep at it .
It's alright! Just take your time with everything. Can't wait to see how the game turns out further down the road.
So as I understand it the game favors those who leave it open. When the game is closed your production timers (if any) continue to run, but all production (including wonder progress) ceases. That's fine. But what's not fine with me is all of a sudden getting raided by a vastly superior force. Thousands of soldiers and hundreds of archers wiped out in an instant. Now when my 10K population timer's up I have to use every last dude to rebuild my army instead of adding to my wonder production. That's a catch-22 and it's dangerously close to rage-quit-and-delete territory.
We matchmake based on civ sizes, so if you were attacked by a much stronger army it likely means have a small army relative to other civs of the same size. We also make sure players don't get raided too frequently, so you won't be getting hit again by anyone for a while. Thanks, we're excited to get this update out!
Thank you. I want to keep loving this game--here's some IAP. Also here's my mandatory constructive suggestion. While I have this open on my desk, using it pomodoro-style to stay focused on my tasks until one timer or another completes, it would be really neato to see more entertaining variety in the landscape portion of the screen. Or maybe there's a "screensaver mode" you can write in your spare (har) time ...kind of like Dreeps I guess. Also (and probably you've considered this and rejected it for sound reasons) I'd like to be able to pay gold for timed immunity against attack. Keep it up. You've got something special here.
Thanks so much . More land artwork, good call. Not this update, but possibly the one after. Timed immunity was a conscious choice, but keep an eye out in the future. We want to come up with the fairest possible way to handle it.
I played the game for a while. Now my people are unhappy, but I can't unlock Battle Standard (don't have enough Leather). What can I do now...
Alright team, the update has been submitted. Here is the official changelog. This doesn't include the subtle balancing changes we've made behind the scenes. Credit to you all for suggesting a good number of these changes! • Prestiging now allows you to keep your Cats • Added ability to change ruler and civ names • Added privacy setting to prevent users from finding and joining your clan without an invite code • Added confirmation dialogue when leaving clans • Rebalanced Trophy/Skull rewards to reward tougher raids • App no longer exits when paused. This prevents troops from being wiped accidentally when pausing the app in the middle of a raid. To prevent exploitation, troops will still be wiped if the app is fully closed and exited while raiding. • Fixed issue that could cause Healers to heal even after they have been removed • Wonder boosts now displayed
Just started 2 days back and I'm addicted to this game. This game reminds me of Earth/Utopia just that it is more simple. Land fat don't apply here XD
