FINALLY! Someone who did a clicker the right way. There is a great sense of progress, not just clicking for clicking sake.
HUGE BUG!! I woke up this morning to check my civ and found every single one of my troops were gone. That's 5k soldiers, 6k archers, 4k knights, an 5 dragons. At first I thought it was a glitch but I started to accept the fact that someone may have had completely wiped me out (although I still didn't really believe it.) So I started to save up citizens an built my army back up once I had 12 k more citizens. Put 4k into each class and trained 3 more dragons. Log on about 2 hours later to check if the dragons were done. 0 troops... Now I REALLY couldn't believe what I was seeing. So I trained like 40 troops just to see what would happen. Logged out. Immediately logged back in and they were gone. No idea what happened but I'm really annoyed. At least I found it before release. Using 4S ios 7 and was on wifi all day today.
Ya my troops are all gone too! 10k soldiers 10k archers and 5k Knights all gone! Hopefully you guys can fix this bug before release! # Other than that I'm having a good time with this game! A lot more management compared to other clickers, and the sense of progression is great!
Ah... this happened once to me too... I just assumed my armies were wiped out. It was "only" 50k soldiers and 40k archers.
I just meant that you could build one wonder, then start a new Civ and build a 2nd one. It still shows 100% Wonder progress in the Civ info, right? Both the Wonder & Cats are primarily a testament to the Awe-inspiring nature of your Civ. Only the best have them! - To those reporting the disappearing soldiers bug, is there any chance you missed a raid-notification while the app wasn't running? Any more details you can provide would be very helpful.. we haven't ever encountered this in our testing! (Also please be sure that you even have local notifications turned on!) FRnchFRy: Had your dragon timers finished the second time everyone disappeared? So that they disappeared too? Or were they still in progress (or built, but everyone else gone?) We can always use more people! Just PM me an email address to add to Test Flight so I can invite you. It is possible they were wiped out.. do you usually get the notifications when a raid happens? Is there any chance you got (& missed one) this time? I was tweaking it earlier, is this still happening too you? - Will
Hrm this definitely does sound like a bug. Can you try the following for me, 2-3 times in a row and let me know if it happens (& how often?) 1. With 0 troops (or however many you've got), create 1 soldier (or archer, or knight) 2. Wait 5 seconds as your people work 3. Background the app, wait 1 second, then exit it from the multitask bar 4. Reopen, check for soldiers Thanks! - Will
yeah still stuck on finding match, then after matchmaking failed. I tried restarting but it's still the same.
Could you tell me your player name, Civ name, & friend code (found in the Journal screen on the bottom left corner) Frustratingly, I can't replicate this! Is anyone else having trouble with Raids? - Will
Actually its just a blank now. No progress bar, just says WONDER COMPLETED : PIETY And Civ info shows PIETY (which was what I picked - actually wanted food ) But since we're on the topic of starting a new CIV, is there any plans to allow us to "RESET" and restart with some bonuses (aka WONDERS) like most clicker games are? I've hit a stage, like a previous poster mentioned... where there isn't really much to do anymore - short of endless wars, which are sure win battles for me anyway. Sitting atop a huge pile of skulls in the TA clan atm.
hmm...weirdly between the last time I posted (after many tries, I quit the game) and now, matchmaking works. I just did 3 successful raids. Btw, am I supposed to have more land than I can use or am I just not managing my resources well?
Glad it's working now! And yes, once you start getting decent at raiding, you generally will solve all your land problems. After all if you need any more, you can just raid for it! -- Also, for all those with the "Army keeps zeroing out" bug, I found the issue! It's caused by quitting the game after a raid starts but before it finishes. To fix it, you just have to complete a new raid. I know that's tough since it's not easy to build soldiers when the army keeps getting wiped out, but a loss is ok too so you can just build one soldier and raid (& lose immediately). Sorry for the inconvenience! - Will
I think there's a problem when training dragons. Here are the steps, 1. I have 100 unemployed. 2. I train 10 dragons, but the 100 unemployed isn't deducted. So I thought cool, that makes sense, humans don't turn into dragons. 3. Train 100 soldiers, then 100 unemployed becomes 0 unemployed. 4. A few hours later (or if sped up with coin), you get -10 button on the buttons. 5. Please don't click on your dragons because they will be gone, instead, click on soldiers so it will get the 10 from the soldiers.
