I'm at a weird point where I basically don't have anything to do. I hire 10k peasants at a time then do it over. Waiting for the techs to finish but I don't even need them (increase tap resources and slums which has +2 population to houses-- I already have a pop cap of 1 million so that's useless). Is caves part of a tech upgrade or is there some other way to get them? Also as mentioned the biggest issue I have is the battery hog the game is. As you need to be actually playing to get anywhere, I burn my battery out in no time at all.

Also, L. Lawliet, & anyone else who wants to weigh in: Are you getting raided too frequently by the offline raids (with notification/popup when you return) or the live raids (during play) or both? These are different systems so we can adjust one or the other, or both, if they're preventing you from building up your Civ - Will
Pm'ed you the details including the device I use. Talking about the raid event, I do somethings feel that it happen pretty frequent while there are times where it just dont happen for a long time. For example I was tapping for more humans waiting to deploy them into farmer miner and such. Suddenly I got raided. Some of my soldiers died so I replenish them from the human I created from earlier tapping then continue to replenish on what I need before I get to the number I need another raid comes in and the cycle basically just repeat itself. So basically I am only wasting time tapping but not being actually productive to my civ at all.

ya i think maybe ya. it is quite inconsistent thou. like i said some times it happen very quickly. some times you can be on for awhile yet nothing is happening. yesterday i did encounter that continuous one where I was creating people then got raid. i refilled my troops with the man i created then continue creating yet attack come in again. basically i am only spending time replenishing my troops. lmao so i got so tired and i just get off the game. since nothing i wanna do is moving because of that. just a thought thou, maybe you can add a system similar to those that were use in games like clash of clans where you kind of have a shield that prevent you from being attack. maybe with a 15 - 20mins buffer. once you have been attacked by someone regardless you won or lost you immediate gain a shield which prevent another person from attacking you for the next 20mins. however if you choose to attack someone immediately you remove your shield which means you basically reset yourself and someone can attack you again. only when you dont attack but being attack instead is when you get a shield that last for 15 - 20mins. Just an idea thou. In fact you dont have to have any visible icon that show the player if he is currently shielded or not like in CoC. Just have a similar system in place but work transparently in the background. Regarding how long should the timer be might needs fine tuning. Since we have to see if there are many players in the game. else it may affect the rate that people can find someone to raid when they are online.
Thanks for the detailed feedback. We'll definitely tweak those values. Regarding a shield, that is actually something we initially planned on adding but had to cut as we focused on the core game. Expect to see it in an update! We're still discussing this, but be prepared for clans/skulls/trophies being reset. Test Flight builds will stop working entirely. Your Civ itself (if on a promo code version) should be fine - Will
I've been playing for almost a day now and I'm on the 2nd TA clan (not sure if evil). Been raiding every now and then. But haven't noticed the raids on my city yet. I'm having fun beta testing this game. One thing I noticed though, but it might be just on the testflight build or environment, but if you try to buy something from the in-app store, then cancel it, the loader won't go away and you won't be able to do anything. I usually force close then load again to continue playing.
If it's not getting a reset... Is there some way the WONDER BUILDING can be rebuilt or reassigned? Kinda regret my original choice of WONDER
Glad you're having fun! Just watch out for that evil Touch Arcade clan, giving you guys a bad name Yep, this is a bug in the promo code (and maybe Testflight?) version, but is fixed now. Is there an option to build a 2nd wonder? # Or is that a future option... Cos the wonder tab has disappeared the minute the first and only wonder was completed.
