true, but i just feel kinda bad getting it for $1 after all the work put ino it and the quality of the app, but ur right, a $1 app will probably stay in the top 25 much longer than, say a $6-8 one. just look at pocket god and flight control.. a lower price is probably the way to go i guess
I still am not sure my take on $1 intros. It WILL get you some HUGE initial bump, hopefully even get you into the Top 100, possibly even into the Top 10...but here's what I have yet to see a developer pull. How do you then raise the price to the "normal rate" and expect to continue the sales momentum? I myself, as an avid App Snatcher can testify that $1 is such a powerful price point. It says, "What the Heck, I can take the plunge for just a $1 even if it turns out to be a complete turd, no big loss." The problem comes when I start getting interested in some intro priced app after the initial push. Sure the app may darn well be worth the $3, but I'd feel a little bit like a sucker when I know everybody else only paid a $1 for it a few days earlier. Even worse, as had happened with Uniwar, they started at $1, stayed there for a while, finally went to some real price for just a few days, and then right back to $1. So I think many assume that when some game starts off a $1 and then tries to raise its price later, it will only be a matter of time before it goes right back to a $1.
couldnt agree more, and shay, if ur out there at all.. could u clarify the price for us please? i wanna get some more apps but i dnt wanna use too much credit as i mightnt be able to afford cs.one if its not $1

That would be me (as a reviewer, I received the latest build of the game) and based my review on that, though I didn't discuss the online component to great lengths apart from it having a competitive online leaderboard amongst the beta testers so far. Since I'm still not sure what's up with the Factions, I won't speak out of line and give you false information but will make sure Shay drops here and see what's up

Terminator Salvation on the iPhone. They're usually late with the issues, at the time I could only write about the most recent releases then (in May) which were T:Salvation, NFS:Undercover and CJS. By the time the issue's out, it'll be July, 2 months behind Well just so you know, Real Racing is coming out tomorrow for $9.99. If you like racing games you could always buy that to make the wait for CS.One more bearable
yeah i saw real racing on the main page, but i dnt wanna buy anything yet in case cs.one costs more than we thought... ive got about $16 AUD credit though.. o n as i said before, monday for america means tuesday for us its kind of a toss up between that and NFS, although id really just be buying NFS for the brand, as the production quality seems better on RR, and itd be good to support firemint, cos they made flight control n theyre a small australian developer, EAs got enough money o thts too bad, still better than nothing i guess... the general public probly doesnt follow sites like TA anyway so they wouldnt really know unless an app was in the top 25.. u should do a review on cs.one, get it some publicity n that (Y)
