Is there any option for me to read the playing instructions again? I read them very quickly on the first time I started the app and now forgot most of what I read...

Start up a new game, after you select your controls and difficulty, double tap the screen quickly.

While I do think the game can be difficult for beginners and hence I agree with the slide to play guy on some things (I honestly can't believe how some people are acting in this thread even some of the forum vets are acting like children), I agree that dual analog is not the way to go.

The main thing I would recommend to this game is to add music to the main menu for one and also make it possible to hit the core and maybe the shield generator when you can't see them. I don't mean let you hit them across the walls in the game, but if I am aiming at something in my line of sight, I find it hard to believe that my lasers disappear right when they go off the screen. Now it definitely should not do this for enemy ships. I believe this compromise will make the game a lot easier, without adding the dual sticks, heck it would be a good improvement overall imho.

I went ahead and joined the [R3D]C3LL faction : )

The icon and the background information sounded pretty awesome.

    Are you being sarcastic?
If not Shay sent le'deuche an early build of the update which includes some score tweaking and along with Shay has been posting those scores.

@se7en all those ideas sound awesome, a free-for-all deatmatch would kill at this game.

Seems to be some major score tweaking. I want to rank up too :)
Thanks, I was overlooking it. Just saw the high scores and was shocked.

And Shay, I would love the idea of different hard obsticles. Everything could be symmetric like now, just instead of these red things, you have obstacles :)
    Would be unbelievably cool.

But I already can't wait for the first update.

Destroy all red obstacles (first level = 1, second level = 2 and so on) and after that a timer starts and you have to destroy the core in the center of the stage within the given time. Really easy.... :)
And surviving this challenge is the other part.

You can also collect green ghost data left by killed enemies.
This makes you trigger a slow motion by shaking the iPhone / iPod, in this time you are also invincible, which is THE rescue later on...

Bought the game yesterday. Very addicting and no lag like some are saying. I'm on an iPod 2g and it's smooth sailing. I already got up to rank 15. My name is Fatal. Trying to work my way up.

I recommend this game if you are able to sit still for awhile(no not 5 mins) and learn the controls of a different game, it's not a dualstick shooter so if that is what you are looking for this game may not be what you are looking for, but there might be a possiblity depending on Shay/se7ens choice. Though you might wanna wait for the update which fixes alot of lag so you wont be mad/dissapointed if it affects your gameplay.

I joined the Red Cell faction and I'm number 4 in it as well as 11 in the world heh. It only took me about 3 minutes to figure out the controls. I was alittle on the fence with this one too at first but I recommend it completely, especially for just 99 cents.

i personally cant recommend this game more. I have this and isotope, and i like this a lot more. Isotope is little more than a geo wars clone, CS.One is something totally different and totally awesome. On my 2g Touch, there is little to no lag, and its never crashed. Its more reliable for me than Real Racing (and more fun) wierd huh? Anybody that has played asteroids can play this.

I can't wait for the update. Once the lag (which i've seen none of) is fixed, i'm sure the reviews for it will be raving, which means people will buy it and join factions so i can make up my mind on which to join, and then Shay will have lots of money and be able to add multiplayer!!!

I also can't wait to get my hands on that amazing soundtrack!!

Just wanted to post what I wrote in another thread:

Now stop bashing STP and get on with your lives. Honestly, one bad review is not the end of the world.

Oh poor kelvy. I hope his feelings aren't hurt. Sorry but his updated review sounds like he's bashing some of the games design elements (slo-mo) because "he" doesn't like them. Isn't that a "subjective" review?? Btw it's very chivalrous of you to defend kelvin like this:)

STP has to live with it like TA has to live with the accusations to give some advertising publishers good reviews (which I don't think is true). Kelvin's review has the same right to exist as our opinions about this review do... as long as there is a comment section. So, STP simply has to live with it :)
