I personally haven't experienced any lag issues with this game at all. Maybe I've just got lucky. I'm putting together a review that will be positive about the game overall, and that should be done early next week hopefully. CS One does have a few issues - such as a very steep learning curve, very sparse instructions/explanations and controls which are slightly cumbersome at first - but overall it's a great shooter. The most striking things about it are its dazzling visuals and its intense pace. There was an electronic table-top game way back in the old days of the 80s called Astro Wars. You had to fly around in a little spaceship and blast things. This kind of reminds me of that, and it's great to see that classic space blaster format is still in existence today with a few modern tweaks.
Actually, something I wanted to see for this game was a way to go back to the main menu from within the game.
Sorry, are you having a bit of a laugh? Yes, it's worth 99c, and more. What else could you buy for the same price - a can of soda, a bar of chocolate, a daily newspaper? If you like shooter/blaster games then this is a very good one. There is a lot of rubbish in the app store that I would consider to be a rip-off even for 99c but most games are at least worth trying for that price.
Lol yes! That's all that goes through my head when I play the game. Mostly because I wanna trash talk lol and use nerdy gaming words lol. Either multiplayer or a chat system. For either of those I'd pay extra.
I have a confession to make in my tipsy stupor. May live to regret this). I was a bit caught up in this 'sup bitch' lark before release. Honestly, now, I wish it was in. In fact, why stop at 'sup bitch'? This game is gritty, and dark and very very cool. I was being such a pansy So Shay, all I need now is to be able to play this on my 1G Touch, which I am sure will happen Can't wait to cause mayhem in a few days. Now all I need to sort out is my damn wifi, which refuses to speak to my iPod. Grrrr
Yup exactly what I suggested awhile back, but it got lost in the thread. Hopefully the CS.one community will grow and Shay could implement something like that. If only arn,blake or eli would review it on the front page and give it some more exposure. I think this game got released at a bad time tbh, right before(in the middle of)RealRacing and StarDefense and even DefenderChronicles not to mention all the other WWDC stuff going on, I think it got lost and forgotten.
Yeah I know that I've suggested openfeint to Shay like six times LOL!. I'm pretty sure he is moving the game in that direction. I know that he's said if it's successful, he'll throw in multiplayer or P2P chat. Like TheOZ I just really want to use nerdy insults when I kill someones score. Or post something nasty to the other factions board...anything like that will do
