Done! Well I guess Shay, you SHOULD have added those cute little beavers that you could dress up with micro purchases in game.... I'll bet they would have reviewed it more favorably
ok I haven't gone past level 4 but i guess I haven't felt trapped and in need of invincibility at this point plus shaking my phone is annoying as I have to re orient myself after doing so I missed the instructions somehow... the graphic style is a bit confusing...but I have to say it's a very cool original looking style and the music and sfx are great... it's beautifully done
No, once you go up a few levels, you'll find that bullet time is that something you use in a clinch. When 4-5 enemies are closing in all around, hit the bullet time and blast them. Also the detonation of the core slows, and finally your invincible,....what's better than that???
bloody hell. As soon as I'm actually off this train and back on a PC it's time to go argue with that review.
@Lordgek- Ouch, I believe you were referring to us as "fanatical fans" I really thought you were one of us
Well beside the crashing part, which I personally haven't experienced yet, I didn't see anything that wasn't true. I believe the controls would be difficult to the casual gamer and the frame rate does drop randomly even when no enemies are on the screen, so I could probably imagine what would happen with a lot of them. Personally, I think the game is gorgeous, but I don't like how it places the core and shield gen on the ceiling. Almost every time I have destroyed the shield generator it was because I ran into it, which I don't understand because it looks like it is above me but somehow I can run into it.
Well it's not above you, so don't fly into it. It's one of those depth illusions.....you know the vase, and faces....
When I think, something is above me, but it hurts, when I run into it. I just try to run into it again and again, because I'm sure it has to be above me Reminds me of a fly in front of a window
Now, this kind of comment confuses me. I really do consider myself a casual gamer, but apparently not, as I find the controls spot on and not overcomplicated in anyway. So, here I am now wondering if I have bridged that mysterious abyss that divides 'casual' gamers from the 'hardcore'!
What games you do you play? @se7en hopefully after the fixes in framerate stp will redo their review and even though after reading through their review I can understand their rating I too was surprised when I scrolled down and saw the two, to be I honest I really thought I was going to scroll down and see a 4 maybe even a 3. Don't worry you know and everyone else knows you have a great game. I wish more of my friends had iPhones and ipod touches so I could tell them to get this game, but sadly...
Well apparently it runs fine on the other STP devices - this Kelvin guy just didn't think to ask his coworkers. What a tool. Thanks for the help guys you will all be getting some cool sh1t from me once this thing takes off. Like beer and tshirts that say STP IZ TEH SUX! : )
How bad was the review? This in no way shape or form is a bad game. Even with the minor framerate drops, it's still fantastic. se7en did you read my post about the menu double tapping exit on tapping the arrows?
We will totally hold you to that. I have millions of promotional tshirts for various tech companies, but none for openly ridiculing one. Make some H.Grenade beer and I will be all over that.
haha! nice. I will seriously do it if they don't fix the review. They gave Isotope a great review and never mentioned that the ship is shaped like a penis. Seriously, I was very offended when I played it. ; ) Or that the ship has no smoothing algorithm on the controls like geo wars. The ship just does an immediate 180 when you change directions like flipping a card over. I'm not even bashing Iso, it's just amazing how some things get through and others they are hypercritical. Maybe if I made it look worse they would think I was 12 years old and give it glowing reviews to be nice. haha. The Bat Outta Hell - I can't do anything about it right now. It is a Unity issue where the timing on the tap count is too sensitive. You just have to calm down and click through slowly for now : ) I wish I had better news, but I have to solve other issues first.
I like Peggle and TokiTori and all that, but I also love gritty games like this as well as Myst and & Rogue Touch. I feel like a transvestite
