I gotta put my hands up and say I was wrong with the 1 star review. Gonna change it to 3 stars for now. Rash impulsive annoyed person review
This game is exactly how I thought it would be. Really MEH. It's ok, I guess, but it's ridiculous to control and not that fun to play. I'll just stick with Isotope for now and maybe play this once in awhile.
In the geometery wars vs asteroids control fight, geometery wars has the advantage of being easier, and asteroids requires a little more skill because it requires overcoming the physics at work. What CSone does is force you to deal with the physics and the chaos that geo wars introduced to the top down arena shooter genre. IMHO it makes it a "funner" experience then the games that influenced it. Shay figure out how to get this on to steam or xbox live arcade. I want it in HD, and I want it blasting through my home theater system.
I would love to have different colors and music as you progress deeper. This game is great. I'm having a hard time deciding on playing this or Real Racing.
Yeah this would be positively amazing with the xbox. We need online play though on the ipod first! I don't know how that would be put in place though... But anyways im pretty sure the xbox would be able to handle the graphics of this game without any lag. 32 on the leaderboards, ledeuche we need to bring red cell past black opz soon! By the way whats h.grenade's username on red cell?
Se7en I believe. Or maybe that's just Shay. I dunno if one person made this game, but I'm pretty sure.
Ok thanks, and sorry about the argument in the other thread, I just got too much on my plate right now.
I called it first, most people who buy CS.One will be annoyed at the difficulty, allowing them to then nitpick at its flaws instead of enjoying the game. But then they'll come back and say how much better its become. Proof? Almost everyone in this thread since page 1. lol
That's why I first played about an hour and THEN left a comment. You really need to spend some time to check HOW AWESOME this game is.
That's why I told Bat to take 30 mins-1 hour off to play and then post impressions. You cannot play CS.One for 5 minutes and say that you've got it all figured out, because most likely -- you don't. When I first played the game to review it last week, my initial impressions were not great. In fact, I went over to MSN to talk to Chris Thomas (senior editor of AG) to tell him that CS.One wasn't what I expected. But as I kept playing, I was discovering more and more of what it had to offer, from its visuals, soundtrack and ruthless gameplay, h.grenade actually did an awesome job.
Yes, I also had to play more than a few minutes to fully get the game. But I also noticed the more I played the less lag I experienced as well. Is there any reason why that would happen?
I've played about 30 minutes and I like it, though at the moment it seems that going really fast is impossible because you don't have time to react if somehthing getsin your way, you gotta take it slow. Is this the same for the rest of you?
I still notice lag with each game, but somewhere along the line I stopped caring because I was having so much fun with it anyway. (playing with an iPhone 3G)
lol. Don't go really fast, that's going to get you killed. What you should probably do is boost here and there just to speed things up momentarily, and then clear the area for points and move on
LOL, I am still figuring out where the "core" is. This game takes time to enjoy and since I know it is not another GW clone, I am still very happy with it.
