Noticed this was on sale and was wondering: - Does this have iCloud saves? - How are the pixelated graphics / sprites? Does it look clear/sharp or blurry overall? - Is it worth buying this on sale, or just playing it on an emulator/otherwise?
No. Looks pixely like the original running on an HD tv. Thankfully they haven't made the pixels more crisp or I think it would look bad. Definitely worth buying this to have on your phone. I mean, it's Chrono Trigger in your pocket!
Does it run well on iphone 6 plus and ipad air? There's an identified crashing issue in the description for iphone 4 running iOS7.1 and up, and i was wondering if this affects the 6 plus as a fairly new device, and ipad air? Sigh... Christmas aint done yet when suddenly you have a godson you havent seen since his baptism show up out of nowhere a young adult and they want an old premium game as a gift for their new phone.
According to the first review in the US AppStore - it runs on the 6/iOS 8 with no crashing issues or freezes. There are a couple negative reviews for crashing on the 6, but not many... I'm guessing they might just have space issues or something. Dunno... but if there were crashing issues for most people, I think there'd be a LOT more 1 star reviews saying so.
It works But yeah secret of mana doesn't... My two fav SNES games both need to be updated and upgraded anyway as the graphics are pretty poor.
Dunno, but it made the game require iOS 9. **edit** Not complaining... Just find it kinda weird. If you've already purchased it, you can download an earlier version... But to already cut off iOS 8 people from purchasing is just... Weird to me... Oh well..
Guess they fixed the wrong game cuz it's secret of mana that no longer works and I'm pretty sure chrono worked on 9 when I tried it but maybe I'm wrong. Hope secret of mana gets fixed soon and one day hopefully chrono gets a graphics update and controls update.
It almost makes me think that they are updating it and this is the first step going off 8 then a graphics update comes I dunno but that would be cool
This game is freaking amazing. I can't believe I never bought this until now. no wonder it's called one of the best rpg ever made
It's one the most fun can't put down RPGs ever made Glad it's on the phone for people to experience and even though it's an older game w older graphics like secret of mana it's still tons of fun to play. I used to play it on SNES back when I was a kid it was always my fav SNES game I owned.
