Does anyone have any idea what the "Battle cursory memory" option means or what it affects? Its in the setting menu.
Knowing Squaresoft games it's likely to be a choice between the cursor appearing at the top of each menu each time or where you last left it.
Can someone please PM me whether or not this port is any good? Is this another Final Fantasy Tactics, where the game is an absolute classic but the port is a mess? Well, I know the game is a classic, but, well... you know what I mean.
To anybody on the fence .... The game has a great story. It's so great that it's one of the main reason that RPG fans play all the newer imitations, in the hope of reliving sone of the greatness to be experienced here. The story makes quibbles about the graphics pale into insignificance imo. It's more fun without a walkthrough. If you find yourself getting bored in the first hour or two - please carry on for a bit ! I guarantee that if you have a soul the game will grab you !
Sorry, but how do I save my progress? Cant seem to find it in the menu, even though I'm in the world map already.
On the main menu, swipe up to scroll. Save is the last option. You can use Bookmark to save your progress when you are not in the overworld.
Haha yes, I didn't notice the scroll bar at 1st, and I was just about to edit my post when I did find it. Still, thanks!
Sorry for asking, but I don't know much about Chrono Trigger. All I know about it is that it is a RPG game. So, can anyone inform me on how the iOS version of Chrono Trigger is? Is it fun? Is it worth the $10? Thanks.
If you're a sucker for an epic story then the price is meaningless ! Just get if you in any way enjoy Rpg. This is not your average game ! (sorry for shamelessly promoting the game in thread - but I can't help it because I can just imagine someone playin this for the first time !!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did for the first time!)
I'm confused? Chrono Trigger NEVER LOOKED CRISP. It's always been like that, taking into account the way CRT's worked and it looking slightly better on those. MAYBE a 2x filter or something like that since it has the resolution to deal with it. And the controls weren't expected by anyone to not be mediocre? Talk about wishing with string.
Let's just say that we're done with this topic, shall we? (I mean the whole comparison with the original artwork on SE's website.)
Quick question: I have combat option set to "wait," but the mobs still keep attacking repeatedly when I do nothing. Am I missing something or is there a bug?
.... It's a bit like when you want your best friend to watch a really good film you saw, or you lend them a really gpod book, a real page turner ! ... Well I'm an old dude and I really hope some of you younger dudes play this for the first time and think "wow" .... "I wish they made video games like this now !"
They all will attack you, it's turn based, game should wait after that though so you have no time limit to choose your attacks. Other option should be where they attack over and over if you're slow to decide. (sorry if that sounds patronising, don't mean to but maybe you're unfamiliar with turn-based idk ... Jus try to help ... Could be bugged for all I know - I'm only 1 battle in !)
No, that's just the thing: they attack over and over even though I have it set to "wait" in the options. Even if I do nothing.
As I understand it, 'wait' means that you won't lose your action if you wait, not that the enemies will stop until you make a move.
