Thaniks for the heads up.
[app]Chronicles of Inotia: Legend of Feanor[/app]
i wonder if it's still worth 5 bucks.
Tough decision. I'm almost certain that I would like it but I have so many games I haven't touched yet. Also the fact that this is the first sale on this game in three months is a factor.
so anyone can tell something more about the game (comparing it to the price)?
You do reviews, someone asked if it was worth it, and all you could cough up was "it is"??! I wouldn't give up your day job just yet if I were you
That said, a quick search, read of the description and reviews, and checking out the screenshots, and it's exactly my type of game. 10 seconds later it was downloading.
I'll pop back in here later with impressions.
To those on the fence this is a really good game if you don't mind the grind. One of my all time fav apps, I've spent at least 30 hours playing the game, and it is one of the few of hundreds of games I have that I actually finished.
Is this REAL turn-based or action-based like The Quest?
It's very shallow, and feels like a flash game, or something you'd find free online. It's real time combat btw. I wouldn't recommend it, but some people seem to enjoy mind numbingingly repetitive level/drop grinding.
Pass for me. Thanks
Does it bear any resemblance to the early Zelda titles?
No. The LoZ games aren't RPGs or even action/RPGs. They're action/adventures. Those games were all about "go here, find out you need that, go find it, come back and open up new area, find out you need something else and engage in combat along the way" etc. Basic action/adventure gameplay.
Chronicles of Inotia is definitely an RPG though. Very stat based, all about grinding. It's not about item hunting mixed with action combat. It's about action combat for the purposes of raising stats so that you can kill more things and survive longer whilst in combat. It really isn't close to LoZ gameplay at all, instead feeling far closer to something like Diablo, tbqh.
What is the play time on this title?
is this game worth to buy?
Pretty lengthy. Again, it's all about the grind, so you can get several long hours combined game time in a game like this.
I went to the developers site and my Antivirus says its unsafe?
Any other feed back on this?
Seems to be a site in Korea?
So basically it's a mini-WoW haha
Thanks for clearing that up. Think I'll pass and wait for Legion of Amon!
Although it's closer to Diablo than Zelda in terms of gameplay, it is far FAR behind diablo in terms of execution of that type of gameplay. It's not even fair to call it a watered down clone of diablo. The original, 12 year old diablo is so far ahead of this game that to consider it a 'diablo clone' of any nature would be a mistake. So, as Spiffy said, it is closer to diablo than to zelda, in that it's an RPG focused on grinding, but make no mistake, this game is terrible compared to diablo. In fact, this game is just terrible.
