Okay it's pretty fun but it's one of those "one touch" games. This would have been almost perfect if it was full on virtual controls, but it's great for what it is. Go ahead and download it.
Mini Dash is exactly what you're looking for. Mind you, it's currently (I don't know if that'll change) iPhone-only, but yep...SMB on iOS.
Totally agree with you. I think ChocoRun is a good game, but when it comes to iOS Super Meat Boy inspired game there is nothing like Mini Dash. Fantastic game, and the amount of content you get for a dollar is insane. Mini Dash is in my top 3 platformers of all time on iOS.
Ugh but that joystick and accelerometer! Total turn off. Three buttons would have made the game seamless. Especially since its a speed run game, it sometimes moves on the slower run when I am trying to make him run faster. Blehhh. Anyways, I am enjoying choco run very much!
I thought it was a Chocobo type of a game, but having fun with it. Mini-dash? Im checking it out asap.
