Just wondering. How come small devs have given up promo codes but Chillingo has not? Not asking for them, just wondering. I would love one for Bike or Die 2 if you are out there Chillingo.

I doubt Chillingo will ever have promo codes on BoD2 - for us, anyway. The only reason devs leave promo codes on forums is to let it gain popularity and get promoted. BoD2 has tons of great reviews and it's on the top 100, so it shouldn't need to be promoted anymore.

They should have a demo version like on Palm OS with the first 3 levels free...

:p I don't mean to, and sorry if I sounded like a jerk on your other thread. I'm not a jerk, but I know there are lots of really awesome devs out there :)

If you want I'll delete my posts if you think I really do sound mean, I don't want you to think I am :p

Speaking of Bike or Die 2, that game, like many others, is one I think I would love, but can't bring myself to buy just yet, so if the developer could throw together a lite version with just a few levels it maybe would make it easier for some of us on the fence. Just a suggestion.

Chillingo is in fact a number of small developers who for some reasons cannot (or maybe do not want to) publish their software on their own.
Bike or Die was developed by ToySpring, maybe you should contact them and ask if they plan to issue promo codes.

By the way, I have given away promo codes here, on toucharcade forums, for my Meteor game (which is also published by Chillingo).
