I am loving this game. It’s really fun. The roguelike system is my favorite style. Reminds me of hades a bit. Perfect leveling system and feel like you are getting stronger. Love the different feel of every character and the way the game makes you play with everyone. Everything is well thought out and really fun to play. I am however shocked it came out with so many bugs. Just not sure how it’s possible. Without a controller aiming is impossible and not fun. With a controller game works great, but you can’t use certain buttons l, and you can’t switch from controller to touch without restarting the app. I always say a game shouldn’t be judged on controller issues. But it doesn’t make sense here. Did nobody try the game with a controller? Did they not notice you can’t play through the tutorial or use controller fully? And now that they have known since release, where is the update? I would have thought an update would come by now, not a sale. I’ll still play as I am having fun. Not going to punish myself but, I still hope for an update to fix issues. One should have come before they put it on sale to get more purchases. Just my opinion. Anyways, bottom line there is a great game here. And if you like roguelike, this is probably for you.
On the playdigous discord they request you use the in-game chat/support to report issues. Try there if you haven’t already.
Once I realized that you have to stop with melee characters for aiming to work properly, I found the controls work fine with touch. Aiming with an archer was already good for me and then when I began stopping for melee character, directional aiming worked fine as well. (Found out about the stopping per one of their responses to reviews on the App Store) Haven’t had any other issues. Great game!
I bought this thinking it’d connect to my new controller, an 8BitDo Pro 2, since my Steel Stratus died. Unfortunately, there’s no support. Here’s hoping the developer will see this request and chime in.
Thanks for encouraging me to keep at it. It works now. I’ve connected my device to “s” and which worked on other games. However, now it does. Whew…I don’t have to ask for a refund…
Loved this game. On the final boss. So many good moments. But the best part here is the different characters. They all genuinely have a different feel and play style. Makes the game so much more fun to keep coming back too. I’m excited to try the other mode once I fully finish the story.
