Thank you very much for this fast first up- or downgrade to ios 7 and up. Now i have to wait for the next one...sigh. Coming from three platformers with top-notch comfortable controls lately, i had to quit this one after i found the jump. No fun for me. The hit-zone of the jump button is too small, and the dead-zone under ALL buttons is a pain. Use more of the screen, please. Wouldn't mind to have a closer distance between the left-right buttons. What a work-out for my small left thumb. I call him Arnie now. Chel-Z has a good weight when jumping and the music is great. So...looking forward again, still. Edit: with all my respect Dev... Maybe let your game tested by some forum members next time and not only by your friends or family. They are too nice and not helpful in the end.
Push the third up-button on the left side of the screen in front of the door? Otherwise re-download the game.
Screw this, game worked perfectly fine last nite and now just unresponsive black screen on start up. Terrible control response, can't play at all now, deleted, refund for iap. Game over. Patience with this one is spent. Redownloaded, restored purchase, exited game, restarted and voila endless black screen.

I also am only getting a black screen, though very briefly upon booting I do get the little "Loading Retro Goodness" message in the lower corner, but only for a split second then it goes straight to black. I'm on iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2.1, not jailbroken.
Thank you for your reply, the brief black screen is normal, because it's loading the save file into memory. On older devices they may need to wait a bit longer than usual, because of memory limitations. This is something that can't be fixed and if the player is running enough jailbroken apps in the background there's a chance the game will never load. Before I submitted this update I made sure it ran on the iPhone 4S, 5, 6, and 6S including some older iPads. I've also tested it on iOS 7-9 and didn't run into any problems. I'll continue to look into this issue as much as I can so I can satisfy everyone.

Hmmm, then maybe that's the problem and it's unable to load a save file? It just sits on black screen, I let it sit for over 15 minutes and the game never loaded. I eventually deleted and reinstalled and that seems to have fixed the problem, but obviously lost all my progress, which actually isn't a huge deal.
I'm going to rewrite some of the loading to see if it fixes the problem. It's a bit hard to pinpoint the problem with so many different device configurations. I'll sort it out though.
I did the exact same thing. Game worked just fine until I closed it and tried opening it again and it black screened me again.
Sent you my Apple ID and UDID for TestFlight. I'm feeling very unsettled about sharing my UDID. Have never been asked for it by a dev before regarding TestFlight.
Well there's a delay with submitting to test flight so I can sign the app with your UDID and just send you the IPA. (Which is quicker than test flight.)
