I second the question on leveling the keeper, can this be done, how and what benefits do we get?

Also, is there any strategy for placing levels? Is there a benefit to placing certain businesses?

    Thank

My keeper levels from upgrading floors and stuff. Currently level 17. You unlock more spells for that keeper as they level up (not consumable spells, they have a cool down)

As for placing businesses - if you look at the quests they often require items from a level above a certain floor number.
For example , "make 200 swords in a weapon shop above level 4". That means you should place a weapon shop on floor 4 or above if you can, so you can make those items.

There's also achievements which give gems , like 3 or 5 food shops in one keep, etc.

Thanks for your reply, very helpful.

I'm on my 2nd tower, over 430 rescued all levels upgraded max, yet my keeper is still level 1 and has no spells. Am I overlooking something?

    No spells, no leveling

Add me to the list of players who CANNOT FIGURE THE FUDGE OUT how to level up their Keeper. I've unlocked several, even promoted a different VIP to Keeper, unlocked an additional spell slot in my book…

I have rescued Princes in 14 different towers, my highest shop level is 500, my Keeper is still Level 1, and the Level 1 spell is still locked.

Only still playing this game because a friend was raving about it—THEIR Keeper is leveling up, and spells are unlocking, but they have no idea WHY.

My Keeper does not level up from upgrading floors (I have multiple towers with all possible upgrades purchased for all 10 shops).

Quests? Quests has always been completely blank.

Do you mean "have your weapons shop pay out 200 times", or do you actually mean "make swords"?

My shop levels (charms) are all over 4000 now, keeper still level 1. :(

I only had 1 quest ever appear, to use gems to advance time.

I feel like something odd is going on. I've leveled 9 keeps like crazy and my keeper is still level 1. The daily quest list has also been blank this entire time. Looks like I have to uninstall, reinstall, and start over? Haha. Oh man. Luckily, I like the game enough to do that, but still. Aggravating. I'm on an iPhone 7 Plus, if that helps any devs of the game looking around.

    quest/leveling bug

The problem people are having with no quests, no leveling, and no spells is a bug. I have it on my phone, pretty much as others have described.

I thought it was just a problem with no quests showing up, and started the game on my iPad to see if I could get the quests there. I'm pretty sure that I got a quest to rescue princes that I hadn't seen the first time-it showed up before the spell buying quest. And then I got daily quests after the spell buying quest.

As it turns out, with the quests active, I also started leveling the keeper when buying charms on the second keep. And there was a quest that enabled the spell book. It's like a totally different game than the one I have on my phone.

I guess there's a sequence of events that leads into the regular daily quests, leveling, and spells. And a bug that has prevented that sequence from being triggered for some of us.

Sounds like it must be a bug a lot of people are experiencing. Hopefully they work it out soon because it's a really fun game!

About the quests, you have to enter the shop and switch it from earning to producing. You won't earn money while it's producing the quest item.

I hope it gets fixed soon so more people can enjoy it !!!

    Hey Charming CEOs,

We're aware of the bug in Keeper levelling and blank quests that can pop up. They share the same root cause (which has to do with the tutorial quest sequence not completing properly). Patch incoming!

How do you build a second tower? I'm on the quest to do so but I'm not seeing the option to do it anywhere.
    Nevermind. Got it.

re the bug with quests - it annoyed me so I played through a few times. I realised the last quest I got was about spending diamonds to speed through time (which you get after building ten shops). If, after you have sped through time, you choose to watch an advert for more money, the quests stop working. The third or fourth playthrough I didn't watch the ad and all is fine thus far...

Lol. I just clicked on my keeper and there is a whole leveling system with spells and stuff. And other keepers too. Can't wait to check it out when it gets fixed. I was just upgrading towers and then moving on to the next but the game always felt like there was something else that was supposed to be happening. I don't have any quests either so looking forward to those.

Hey guys, just started playing the game today. Love it so far!

But can someone please explain the difference between "earning mode" and "bonus mode"?

    Thanks!

Can you explain Bonus Mode and what exactly it's supposed to do? Here's an example of what I'm seeing:

Keep 7, first floor is earning 316,784.

All Keeps before it are in Earn Mode. Change all Keeps before it to Bonus Mode and Keep 7 first floor is still 316,784.

All Keeps before it were at 50%. I went through and upgraded all of them to 100%. Put them in bonus mode and Keep 7 first floor is still at 316,784.

So what exactly is a "princely profit bonus" and where exactly is it being applied?

How to switch back to earn mode

I know this might sound silly but I can't find the option to switch a previous keep back to earn mode anywhere  currently on my 2nd keep.

Go in the keep then tap on the prince sign. To the right of where it says bonus mode on the very top floor. Now scroll all the way down.
