I think it follows Japan's timezone. I'm GMT+7 and the new day starts at 10pm instead of 12 am for me.
It seems I have a save after mother gene quest and mutant isolation/ magma ocean main quest. Is that too far?
Well a day should have passed by now since it's past 1am Japan time, and the Lily Bell still did not respond. I am actually pissed off now since this game cost over $20 and I can't even get past a quest due to a stupid game mechanic. Why the hell would they have a quest to hand over a Lily Bell item if it was so important...sigh. Edit: Wow I am so happy, I managed to use a memory editor to guess the address for the Lily Bell item and added it in manually, now I can play again!
What genes should i use for the entity? This guy is whooping my butt. Edit: nevermind. Finally got it. Good stuff.
I've used Kojiro with inherited Physical Shield and Physical Resistance, Kenshin w/ Physical Resistance, and Arianhrod. Between the 3 of them, you have Physical Shield, 2 x Physical Resistance, and Magic Shield.
Are any of these combinations good for Adam? Kojiro, kojiro, gilgamesh Or Kojiro, kojiro, arienrhod Or Kojiro, gilgamesh, arienrhod Or anything else you guys think is better?
Out of those 3, I prefer 2 x Kojiro + Arienrhod. I have beaten Adam with the same lineup but I found that it took too long. (I was striving for the 4-turn kill.) I ultimately went with a lineup of Kenshin (Magnum Fang, Unstoppable), Kenshin (Magnum Fang, Physical Resistance), Kojiro (physical shield, physical resistance). All genes upgraded with Greed Seed III x 4. If you want even stronger, you can replace Kojiro with Kenshin with Magnum Fang/Critical boost. it is weaker defensively and you can die if you are hit with a physical and magic attack in the same turn twice. to protect my lineup from that scenario, I would start out with an Iris Shield. Both of those lineups can kill Adam in 4 or 5 turns with no healing.
It happened to me when I maxed out my number of genes. Move some genes to your repository and you should be ok.
hey hey guys just got this game. SHould i use my golden keys in the "first few zones?" i.e the octopus levels? I just unlocked the bomb but i'm assuming the cards will all be pretty much one star and I have better cards from the gene boxes. should I skip these early ones, or are the rewards quite random in what i receive? If it's all newbie starter crap then perhaps i shouldnt waste my time opening them? i also pulled two 4 star SR keplar cards what shall i use these on? ALso for some reason i can't use the option to fuse my cards, is this a feature which comes later or? Also, should i convert gifts into items, or keep them? Have no clue about half this stuff and dont want to screw myself over. Thanks
You should open all your golden chests, even if you don't like the genes that are in them. If you open 17 chests within an area, you will get a special 4* gene that is unique to that area. You need as many Keplar cards as you can get your hands on. Keplar cards are used to increase the rarity of a maxed out gene, learn skills in which to add to another gene as inherited skills, or to reset the gene. The monthly special 5* genes all have a rarity of R, so you would need to combine it with a Keplar or with another of the same gene to get it to a rarity of SR. In my last playthrough, I probably went through more than 100 Keplar cards. You can get more details by checking out Mattosai's Chaos Rings III FAQ.
Is there a shop where I can buy lotions? Floodgate and lotions are quite useful especially to set up combos. There is a faq listing monster drops but I don't think there is one for shops? The game has enough eggon grinding already I hope I don't have to grind lotions too..
