A fix for any crash You need to have a jail broken device add source http://thebigboss.org/repofiles/cydia/ then go to search and find program called Anywhere then once installed turn it on and at the bottom go to virtual machine then press Modify iPhone series mod... Or IPod series models which ever should work best for you, pick any device from list and find chaosrings 3 press on it I'll show a check mark than start the game and you should be able to keep playing hope this helps enjoy I don't take the credit for app but I did figure it out using this method
To complete (or some confirmation) of spinda posts about Genes i experienced since : I upgraded 2 rares to super rare cards ( cao cao and joan of arc) with the Kepler SR card, and despite the fact the two were blank keplers (no skills taught on them) , i got a blue heritage skill on one of my upgrades (not sure why). Upgrading to SR gives indeed 3 new skills like spinda said @20/40/60, often the most powerful ones btw : Cao Cao got "augmented lambda" that way, and i got "light deluge" (strong melee/light attack) for Joan of Arc (+ a magic repel that doubles the damage on foe if i recall). So even without legacy (blue) skills, Super Rare upgrade is often worth it, the luxury to mix some high level cards to get heritage skills comes later i guess. Btw i found that team level is linked to the number, and maybe rarity, of the Genes you find , i though it was all about leveling genes, and was wondering why my team was still lvl 17, but nope, simply finding more genes does the trick... yeah i probably skipped some tutorial about it... ^^; some tips , as a reminder be very careful with the third one tho : - Learn the "Fight Now !" gift as soon as you find it, this way you can desactivate encounters and fight when you want (new instant fight icon on UI) > this is paradise. - Switching between battle and story mode resplenish MP (don't ever spend a token in battle mode), this was said but don't hurt to say it once more :b - the game is dependant of your device date/time, you still can go backwards if you miss some event, even go forward BUT doing so : you will miss login rewards (5 tokens/day) between today and the forward time you set unless you are doing this day per day (quite tedious), and lose your VIP days too if you are on a plan. - If you really want the 2 monthly rare cards in the gene box, save , open... soft reset until you get it ( use 5x cards box unless you want to spend your life on rng generator...)
To the guys scratching their heads with the finishers etc. everyone is explained in tutorial quests. Go play them, you will not only understand the system but will get a coin for each tutorial. To do the special finisher you have to have the gauge on your favor on max, it will not activate otherwise. (You also have to do the chain, super effective hit/crit. Etc etc)
I thought that the team level will increase if we find new gene? Find new gene->go to mariv->level increased
Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard that this game is around 2 gb with all chapters installed. If that is true, then I think I could get this game on my device. Anybody know how well this game runs on iPhone 5?
Team Level info: Your team level is the number of different genes you have collected +1. It has nothing to do with gene rarity, gene level, or global gene amount you currently have. If you go into MyPage/GeneIndex, count the collected genes, add 1, and you get your current team level.
A Fusion result gets Blue Skills if any of the parents has a Skill that it doesn't have or learn. Simply means that the Rare version of those 5* Genes have skills the Super Rare version doesn't. Or you gave the Rare version a skill item. One more thing about Kepler fusions, the maximum level of the result seems to be 25 (tested with L59R + Kepler) so just incase anyone is planning to SR those 5*'s from Gene Boxes, might want to keep that in mind. If you grind them out then decide to give them or change their Blue Skills you'll have to start back at level 25. Also some basic damage testing Weak All Spell is around 2/3rds the damage of a Weak Single Spell Medium Single Spell is around 2x the damage of a Weak Single Spell Strong Single Spell is around 1.5x the damage of a Medium Single Spell Healing is affected by levels (Gene and Character) Attack doesn't seem to affect the strength of a Healing spell. It's not affected by Advantage(Break Gauge) The side with the Advantage deals 1.5x damage. The side without advantage deals normal damage. Phys Boost and Magic Boost give a 1.3x multiplier to the corresponding attack
Does anyone know if SE is planning a quick update for those who are affected by Octopus crashing problem?
Hey all! Long time reader but have never posted. Anyways on I got passed the dreaded mocktopus crash on my iPad. What I did: 1. Get to the mocktopus area and save when you get right before the fight. 2. Run up and start cutscene. 3. As soon as mocktopus says "gurgle gurgle" or whatever pause your game. 4. Home button out of CR3. 5. I opened up safari and then messed around on it for about 3 min 6. Go back to CR3 by double tapping home button to bring up open apps. 7. Unpause and it should work. Cheers
Thank you very much for the advice, because smegly confirmed it works your advice should help many who are in this situation, however I tried a few times and I had the same problem. Spending 20 on a game that I can not play it makes me feel very frustrated . I now regret not buying Sproggiwood and Desktop Dungeons instead...
What ios and device are you Using? I have 8.2 and and iPad Air and it still crashes when I come back to it. Do you pause right after the gurgle gurgle! Or before all the letters were on screen?
ALL HAIL THE PAUSE GOD! (I paused it while it said "*gurgle gurgle*" - the entire thing.) Time to catch up on the rest of the game now - have 3 lev 45 rare genes without getting past the Mocktopus
Save after mocktopus? anybody have a save exactly after mocktopus? I tried change language, pause and open safari, low resolution, sound off, download all chapters. Nothing works for me. Iphone 4s, IOS 7.0.1
Solved! Download Japanese version and install (keep the english version) copy the folder "documents" of the english version to the japanese version open japanese and beat the boss save and return the folder "documents" to english version I used Ifile, you can use ifunbox too
