Unfortunately, I think yes until September, when the savegame detects the real date and it's correct compared to what it has internally recorded. Maybe if you have an iTunes backup from before you tampered with the date, you could try and restore it.
Lovely! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I've been afraid to beat it since I don't want it to end. However it's still my favorite mobile original game on iOS. CR3 is a perfect example of a massive premium mobile experience. No f2p involved.
After many, many hours of playing this amazing game and testing different genes, skills, and boss battles, I believe I have more or less mastered it. Proof in spoiler image: pic of me defeating the game's hardest boss (don't click on it unless you have reached Chapter 4, or it could spoil some things). Spoiler Reaching damage cap with a normal attack. It is possible to consistently defeat the final boss in 2-3 turns while taking little to no damage. https://postimg.org/image/mrmpnejiv/ I don't want to take the time to write a whole guide, but if anyone has any questions let me know. I have seen a lot of inaccurate or at least non-ideal advice and end-game builds floating around, and some of the skills in this game work in ways you may not expect, especially in the biggest boss fights. With the ideal build it is possible to obliterate any enemy in the game while taking little to no damage. I would be happy to talk end-game builds, best genes/skills, or anything else, but this game is old so I don't know if anyone cares.
The basic idea is to make your normal attack do huge damage by stacking phys boost, element boost, and crit x2 (stacking only works in the biggest boss battles). You can guarantee critical with Critical First Attack, and you can amplify damage with Gamma Knife, Berserker Catalyst, and element lotion to make the boss weak to your element. The setup is 3 Kenshins (interchangeable with Masamune) Skills shared by all 3 Kenshins: - Critical x 2 - Physical Boost - Fire Boost (in the image I replaced all three with Light Boost as an experiment - any element works if it matches the element of your leftmost gene, or if you use a lotion on yourself) Specific skills that at least 1 Kenshin should have: Floodgate Critical First Attack Berserker Catalyst 2 x Magnum Fang (inherited) Defensive skills (if you use all of these, you should take almost 0 damage): Mental Wall Catalyst (inherited) Unstoppable (inherited) 2 x Physical Shield (inherited) The remaining skill slots can be filled with anything you want. How it works: - Equip weapons that have high attack and fire damage boost - Use Gamma Knife and Ice Lotion on the boss - Hit him with Magnum Fang to boost your break bar and get him down to 50% health (possible with 2-4 actions depending on how often you critical) - Hit him with one normal attack that should do 999,999 damage (50% of his health) Let me know if you want me to walk through how I got those skills onto Kenshin.
Please post the method of how you got those skills onto Kenshin. How do you put more than two inherited skills in the blue boxes?
Sorry, I didn't explain myself well. You can only put 2 inherited skills in each Kenshin (or Masamune). So you get a total of 6 inherited skills for your team. I chose these: 2 x Magnum Fang (from Wagner) 2 x Physical Shied (from Solomon) Unstoppable (from Da Vinci) Mental Wall Catalyst (from Isseult) I didn't write out the fusion chains I used to get each of these onto Kenshin or Masamune, but there are many different fusion sequences that work for each one. Once you get a good gene collection it's easy to experiment by using a clone of your game save. Here's one example I did write down: Kenshin with Physical Shield amd Magnum Fang: To get Physical Shield on Kenshin: Start with Solomon (leveled up until he learns Phys Shield) + Agamemnon -> Ishtar + Okita -> Kenshin To get Magnum Fang on different Kenshin: Start with Wagner (with Magnum Fang) + some earth or light element gene (I don't remember which I used, but I have used multiple different ones... maybe Amaterasu? EDIT: Xuanzang, Athena, Gagarin, Romulus + Remus all work) -> Kenshin Then fuse the Kenshins: Kenshin (Physical Shield) + Kenshin (Magnum Fang) -> Kenshin with Physical Shield amd Magnum Fang There is a chart of which elements fuse to which: https://gamelytic.com/chaos-rings-3-gene-fusion-combine-guide/ Here is my full team: Kenshin A: - Magnum Fang (Wagner) - Mental Wall Catalyst (Isseult) - Fire Booster (July Coliseum box) - Critical x2 (natural) - Physical booster (natural) - Floodgate (natural) Kenshin B: - Magnum Fang - Physical Shield - Fire Booster (July Coliseum box) - Critical x2 (natural) - Physical booster (natural) - Berserker Catalyst (quest reward) Kenshin C: - Unstoppabe - Physical Shied - Fire Booster (July Coliseum box) - Critical x2 (natural) - Physical booster (natural) - Critical First Attack (quest reward)
@michaea: Wow, awesome! Thank you so much for the details of how to get the skills. I have almost all the skills except the Mental Wall Catalyst but now I see how to get it. Do you know if we have a way to get more catalyst skills (as in farming methods) or four types from the quests rewards are the only ways? I know from different fusion of genes, it is possible but just curious if some grinding ways we can get more. Thanks again for the clear post, which are rare in this thread as many had wrong or erroneous assumption about different fusion results or farming rewards.
Yeah I have had to sift through a lot of false information from online sources. I started running experiments of my own to verify everything. Unfortunately the catalyst skill items like berserker catalyst and diamond catalyst are only obtainable once per game via quests. You can get the same effects from items or skills like Emperor mode, but they take a turn to activate in battle.
I've gotten catalyst items multiple times from quests. Same with other skill items like Critical First Attack. They're only C level quests, after all.
Yes, you are talking about the Archdemon of pride quests, which is what I had mentioned on my previous post. These quests are Archdemon of Envy, Archdemon of Wrath, Archdemon of Sloth and finally Archdemon of Lust, which give the following rewards upon completion: Berserk Catalyst, Diamond Catalyst, Tachyon Catalyst, Eggon Catalyst and finally Critical First Hit (in that order). Unless you are replaying the game or cheating (memory editing using hex editor), there is no way to get these items multiple times in the game. I thought there was a grinding method through 100 level Lava stage but I did not see it beside those elemental boost/resistance rewards and recovery x1.5. I have finished this game 3 times (all the quests are completed, including the secret one) and started again for the 4th time and I did not see the catalysts items more than once. Unless you show me proof of your claim with clear and concise pictorial or video proof, without cheating, I am calling your post a big pile of crap!!! Seriously, I wish I had found this thread earlier so that I could have put a stop (with severe insults) to such bullshit posts. People either spout nonsense, cheat or dick measure their accomplishments while sharing wrong information with everyone in games like these. What a shame!! Thank you so much. You know what you are talking about! I appreciate the accurate information on this. I tried to send you a PM but for some reason I couldn't but just writing to say I got your message and I found it thoroughly helpful. Thanks!
Really wish this had iCloud. Have hours and hours of progress on my iPad but want to have it on my iPhone.
Sheesh, my bad. It's just that it's been a while since I've played, and my memory isn't all there regarding this game. Believe me, I've beaten this game before. Why don't you compile a new FAQ for the game or something, if you are so confident in your knowledge. I've gotten most of my info from the current FAQ created by the numerous skilled members of this thread back when this game was a big deal on this site.
AA max boost, floodgate mechanics Hey there! Registered just to ask about aa and floodgate mechanics. Havent found it on forum yet. Does floodgate works during AA or physical booster is the only thing that increses AA dmg? I just want to make the biggest AA dmg dealer and if floodgate doesnt worj than Nobel with his 405 atk and phs. booster best option. Also i wonder weather Xuanzhang with 500 atk AA dmg bigger than Nobel with 405 but with phs. booster. But if floodgate works than john doe or hippolyta with affinity and/or magic/phs. booster. Anyone tested? Also are crits possible during AA? Do crits work with floodgate or it counts like magical atk and no crits than? 2. I also want to make gene with Last Stand and Blue moon brave))) and some mag./phs. Blocks from partners on top) Wonder which gene with x2 woud be the best for that trick. Edit. Looks like ishtar with blue moon grave and phs. Boost/affinity attribute would be nice choice. Again question about floodgate mechanics, does it work on counter attacks? Any ideas what fusion route can lead to such a result?))
can't believe i just realized the main characters voice actor is also kirito from sword art and soma from food wars lol
