Anyone feel like items cost too little? or the shop needs to update more? I bought the best items available for only a third of the oz i had.
Yeah... Thanks to unconscious grinding. Youre right though, the prices seem too low. But hey, most SE rpgs are, and that includes FF titles.
LOL yeah... Media Vision made all 3 CR titles. And all 3 had Piu Piu selling stuff cheap. Well... not all of them
^ Piu Piu is just a nice guy and has a thing for girls.. so he gives you cheap prices! Btw, can anyone explain to me what's good about the Counter moves on Sophia? It seems to do the same amount of damage as just normally attacking when I use it. Therefore, it seems like a waste of MP when you can just hit the enemy with a normal attack instead. Maybe I'm missing something?
Im not sure who Sophia is, but i'll answer your Q. You get a CHANCE to attack more than once in a turn. Sample... I went duo on a turn and cast Beng Quan (critical counter when hit with physical damage. lasts one turn.). If I was fighting 2 enemies, there is a chance that these 2 will attack me with physical attacks. Therefore, letting me counter attack with BOTH characters TWICE (once for each enemy). It makes it better if you are fighting 3 enmies. Also, eventually you'll be able to read enemies whether they use more physical or magical attacks which makes risking counter skills more rewarding.
Choosing the order of sacrifices is a very cool idea however seems like there's an ideal one. Spoiler Connor first just for the scenario that is added, even if it's 'canceled' and you have to pick another one. So real first is Araki because that will net you Darwin's awakening lvl 2. Best to have it sooner! Are there any other reasons or hidden rewards regarding sacrifice order?
Maybe some spoilers. Spoiler So guys, after you defeat PiuPiu, is there anything else to do in the game besides level your characters to 100 and New Game+ ? And also, do you keep the Super MV bra thing if you start a new game+ ? Thanks =D
Add to this strategy the skill that I think is called "Taunt" that forces all enemies to attack one character for 5 turns and the Counter skill becomes infinitely more useful as well...
Oh, Chaos Rings. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. I don't regret buying it; despite some minor flaws here and there, it's still a fantastic looking game that's a lot of fun to play. But Christ, Spoiler that choice you have to make at the end (very mild spoilers, but what the hell) is colossally dumb on the face of it. (bigger spoilers, probably best not to read if you haven't beaten the game) Spoiler I've only got the bad ending so far, and I'm really hoping there's something about the good one that makes it more than just a magical happy-clappy do-over, otherwise what the hell was the point of everything I just did? This was exactly where I hoped the story wouldn't go, basically. Not cool, people. Not cool at all.
From how dissapointed you are, i can easily say that you picked the very very dull ending! Answer differently to the question!
lol...media-vision isn't known for developing games with creative storylines. The Wild Arms games had extremely generic and predictable plots that were emotionally pushy at times and also employed Deus ex Machina endings. Spoiler well >.> ... some things are generic because they have mass appeal;most people desire happy endings where everyone is magically ressed.
Spoiler well this game did have a somewhat cheesy ending but I thought the story was still quite gripping. in terms of 'epic plot twists' chaos rings 2 falls short of chaos rings 1 and especially omega. I don't know anything about Wild Arms but I thought the storyline in omega was anything but generic and predictable lol. It's also quite possible that Square Enix devised/influenced the storyline considering they are not the 'developers' but they are still the 'producers'.
What's the point of SP? I am only about 5 hrs in so if the use becomes apparent later in the game let me know- maybe I am missing something easy?
