For someone who likes only western RPGs what are you doing in this thread? And more importantly, why did you buy/download this game? Nothing you listed even makes sense. "Chocolate" as a healing item is "stupid"? Guess you're too used to "super mana potions" as healing items. Dialog is stupid and makes no sense? Go and learn some English and come back to play this game. Impossible to tell who's male? You've probably been living in a hole in an asylum for the last 20 years or so.
with the same monsters on the same map, sometimes player can make action first and sometimes enemies. Is there some possibility to control such stuff (skills, attributes) or it's random? Aurora one needs your permission to post something here? i buy what i want, so get off.
Anybody know why I cant equip Genes anymore? I just got my first ring and for some reason I cant equip any of my genes. Even if I unequip then try to reequip it wont work, and now Im stuck with empty slots that I cant fill. HELP!!!
Nevermind that last question I figured it out. Now I need to know what the Attach genes do? Like Attach Aqua, which adds the aqua attribute to target. Is this suppose to be an offensive attack, or is it useless?
It is pretty simple, it can be both defensive (cast it on yourself so that enemy does half dmg on you) or cast it on the enemy so that you do double damage on him. At early stages it is very useful.
It adds (in your example) the aqua element to the enemy so that you can use a gale attack against it (that is in case the enemy doesn't use magic often, you can exploit its weakness yourself). You could always just wait until the enemy uses magic, though. Edit: It seems Khamous already answered your question
I recommend doing Zhamos first as I personally feel their story is the least interesting. Very dry and straight forward. Escher's should be 2nd as they have a nice twist to it. 3rd...it's a toss up, but I think story-wise go with Olgar or whatever that old man with the white hair is. 4th should be Ayuta as his story sort of makes you go "ooooh, I get it now!"
Actually I though Olgar's Story explained more than Ayu's one, I went Escher, Olgar, Ayuta, Eluca, and yes, Eluca's is by far the less impressive of the lot...
Well regardless, I originally thought "ah man, I have to play the same thing FOUR times and grind up each couple a total of FOUR times? this is going to be a drag" but then it's been a while where the story has captivated me and pushed me to finding out more. So, super props to Squeenix. If you don't enjoy the storyline...I'm sorry.
might be a spoiler but..... the story really reminds me of Chrono Trigger...Lavos??? though i haven't yet finished eluca and zhamo i somehow guessed already how will the last scenario be
in tiger genes there is a "preemptive" skill, which adds more chance to make the first action in battle. kugi_igi,you`re thinking in the wrong way i 2 was thinking about chrono and lavos first)
Need some help guys. Where can I get the dragon genes after the first boss? Im at lvl 58 now but I still cannot complete the dragon gene as I cannot find any dragon... Help most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The fifth area, Berilth, has some dragons. Just keep laying and eventually you will encounter all types again.
Hate to sound like a nerd but can we at least try to mark our spoilers? Some people come into this thread for help and would prefer not to see major plot points revealed without warning (speaking to the poster above me -- I won't quote for the benefit of others).
Spaz's spoiler doesn't really make much sense anyways unless you have some inkling of already encountering the plot.
