You probably turned encounters off by accident. When you hit the little menu thing on the top right make sure that the bubble to the left that says "enc" does not have a slash through it in red.
How Many mb's do I need free before I can download this game? I've got about 400mb free ATM I think and it still isn't downloading
wow! i played LOOONG since the story got very interesting! just finished the first pair and now i want to finish all of them now can't believe Garrick died! oops sorry i'm such a spoiler
You may need a little more space, I think the game is almost 300 megs compressed, so I'd give it at least twice that to install.
253mb, are you downloading directly to your iTouch? Because the file size is pretty big I doubt you'd be able to notice the progress bar until you get at least 15%. The downloading might've paused as well - its always better to download it via iTunes program Just click on 'Buy' from there, you won't be charged twice
I fixed the spoiler for you. Although it's probably only a 'spoiler' for you, since it's patently obvious to everyone else.
who gave you the right to quote an edited post of mine? i'm so sorry for your slowness in getting things i advice you to to do this enough of that,i don't like fighting i'll just enjoy this game! the story is getting much much interesting
this game is my best game forever really enjoyable high quality game for a portable device like iphone im almost finishing it and very sad to do this
Yeah, repeated playthroughs with the other characters... There's not much incentive to plug on as everything is the same. It becomes rather dull even as soon as you play through with your second team. As it is you pretty much attain all the genes on the first playthrough and can easily master them all without going out of your way. What this leaves with repeated playthroughs of the other characters is very little progression as everything is already attained. I think it would have fared better by distributing each team with their own abilities and skills, perhaps attaining different gene skills from the same enemies. As it is, as somewhat interesting the whacked out sci-fi story is and the slightly different perspective to it each team provides, that alone isn't enough for repeated playthroughs.
Don't know if this is posted before, but even the New York Times has reviewed this game...and gave it a glowing review. Has to be a first for an iPhone game... http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/24/arts/television/24chaos.html?hpw
Wow! That's an amazing review. The New York Times, huh? I think I've heard of them. Strange though, nowhere does that review call CR a "sub-par mobile game" like another person here has. Anything this revolutionary and popular is bound to have haters just on general principles, but this review is just one more example of how whether you like the game or not, you should at least acknowledge that it has the potential to be a true game changer for this platform.
Holy crap, even the NY Times likes this! I didn't even know that they fully acknowledged video games as a form of media! That's impressive. I really hope this sets a trend and shows the other big-name companies what the iPhone is really capable of.
Chaos Rings is the vanguard of what Nintendo, the maker of the fabulously popular DS handheld console, and Sony, the maker of the PlayStation Portable, should have been fearing the last several years: that eventually major developers and publishers like Square Enix would start making iPhone-exclusive titles every bit as professional and polished as the games for their own systems. Yeah, talk about hyperbole, throughout the whole article.
Yeah that comment is too exaggerating. Doesn't look like something out of NYT... more like some game review site.
Well to be fair, the writer IS a gamer, and a FF fan from the sound of it-but yeah as much as I like CR, this had me rolling my eyes several times.
