If you're correct then sure, they should have added some new content... but we can't prove it yet so perhaps it's not the right time to start complaining.

I'm waiting for impressions i liked the first one but by the 3rd couple I got tired of the puzzles and going through all the same levels.

I've been looking at this quote for several moments now, trying to understand what you mean. But I've no idea :-D By what definition of the word "RPG" is a Final Fantasy-like (as good as the original Chaos Rings is) the only RPG for the platform?

idk. The original chaos ring just felt too much like a console jrpg which never works well for a portable device. The transitions were slow. Combat was slow and laggy. The puzzles were out of place, and the art looked like some generic f2p korean mmo.

This just looks like another 'character story' for the first game. All the assets look the same. Gameplay looks the same. meh.

    Liking the new music though.

Oh man, I am so getting this. I cannot wait!

I loved the first Chaos Rings. The price is a bit steep and I'm saving up for other games but I guess I'll just buy this and save later lol

I still haven't finished the first Chaos Rings so I might pass on this one for now. The third update is supposed to include Japanese voice acting, is there any English voice acting already included or no?

  10. Are there any differences in gameplay at all from the original? Different skills at least?

No one knows because no one actually lives in New Zealand.

  12. I'm assuming some people here do, because Sanuku posted 2 gameplay videos a page back.

'twas just a joke. Although I doubt highly that Sanuku is from NZ, he probably just has a NZ account. I just kid about it because the NZ threads are usually a lot of speculation and little else.

  14. Fair enough. I'll probably end up buying this anyways because Chaos Rings had one of the best storylines of any iOS game IMO.

Just hope there's not a system like the original Chaos Rings where you have to do the same thing multiple times before actually beating the game..I'll resync it one day and finish it..couldn't be bothered playing anymore after finishing two teams. From the video, this game looks pretty darn awesome just like the first. It's a release that rivals the Infinity Blade update, heheh. FFT and CR2 soon hopefully!

Should I play this prequel first, then play the original?

I'm stuck in the lava area of the first game. How do you make the wall of fire from the fissure go away? I'm new to this genre, and I admit that I'm clueless.

Use the map. Do the puzzles. Each of them releases one wall.
    Use the other thread xP.

Thanks. Sorry, I figured it'd be a pain to find a year-old game's thread. I'll just keep grinding my way through the rooms until I find an unsolved puzzle.
