i know this question has been asked a few times but its never answered so may i ask what is the method for getting through this part? i've been wandering around the area for the whole day just trying to find it
Hm, hard to explain. I'll keep it simple: In the fissure map (where you see the fire that is blocking you), there are 3/4 paths. 2 of those lead you to the path that leads to the thing that puts off the fire, the other 2 are just different paths to get to that spot where you are on. If you've missed it then it probably means you've missed the paths. Normally, iirc, I come to that map from the left entrance and I've already got 1 fire, then I go to the lower left crystal and follow a path to the 2nd puzzle. Hope it helps...
Well my question was if I'm doing something wrong, or it's supposed to be that way. It doesn't make sense to me that level 8 monsters take like 400 damage while level 3 monsters have double the speed and take only 140 damage. Apparently the level of monsters have no meaning lol.
Oh! I see, sorry, I truly didnt get it In that regard, is the type of monster you're fighting. Some have really huuuge pdef even if they're lower lvl enemies, so those differences do happen, normally when that happens it means that the enemy is strong to normal attacks but a bit weaker to magic. Hope that helps explain.
First couple is the hardest, especially on low level. I remembered I have to reenter beaten dungeon to do some grinding. After your chars reached lvl 20 or so, it will become easier and easier.. At lvl 50+, my first couple are invincible. Before starting my second couple, I used Escher and mate to master all genes. The second couple, was even easier, almost like play cheat. With Celestial genes equipped, I just need to 'Steal HP' to kill the first foe, and then 'Sacrifice' to finish. Truly immortal.
I think the thing that is accounting for the damage difference here is the advantage gauge. If the enemy is faster; he is probably getting the first hit. Therefore the advantage gauge is against you, likely for the rest of your battle; this is why the enemy is taking half damage.
You get them automatically at certain points in the game, you dont "find" the rings like a treasure or something.
Ya you have to beat the 'boss' at the end of each dungeon. But there are two bosses in each one, and only the one at the end gives you a ring
Ok, I'm a lvl 29 and everyone is telling me to keep playing with the 1st coulple until I beat the other parts even hough I already beat the agent. So I was playing and I opened a dark Chrystal and it was a lvl 81 monster. I tried do the lvl in 30-40 but I got a lvl 81 monster??? What should I do? How do I beat it
I think they don't mean the dark crystals, they means what opens up after you beat the story and go out the original door. Also, I've found that a 20 lvl margin is the safest bet to be able to kill the bosses (the ones that hit twice, at least) so, for lv 80, 55-60, with good genes, should do the trick.
Dang candle puzzle Ok, your local noob here again, asking some rather embarrassing questions. I am at this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/48294458@N03/4559956370/ candle puzzle. I think I've worked on it too long. Nothing else has given me trouble. But this one..... Please, if anyone has the solution or at least a hint! Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU. Your ever-lovin' noob witty
For anyone having troubles with puzzles, here is a link to the official guide that gives the solution to each puzzle in the game. http://chaosringsguide.webs.com/puzzle.html#1
This mighht help I don't know how to include a screenshot, but I still might be able to help. You take places with the buttons or gems that you touch. Everytime you come into contact with a gem, you get another turn to take places with a button or a gem. That should help, sorry about no screenshot, but I don't think a screenshot would help anyway.
Does anyone know how the map works in this game? It says there are like 3-4 exits in the room I'm in but there's only 1? And the orientation is totally off too... the exit is to the south but on the map it says I came from the east?
NoW it's my turn Does anyone know how to use the field gene, slug, encounter? It says that it let's you turn encounters on or off, and I've equipped it, but I can't figure out how to actually use it. Also, If anyone knows, what exactly does it do?
You can choose to no longer get random encounters. Once equipper, click the thingy at top right, then enc, if it is crossed out, that means no encounters.
