Apart from that, it is also a run and gun platformer, powered by Unreal Engine. The game is highly influenced by games from 8-bit and 16-bit era, including Contra/Probotector series, as well as titles like Abuse and Doom Troopers. The game is set on a huge spaceship occupied by chaos cultists, where the main character (who clearly looks like a hi-tech version of the god Anubis) must kill everyone in sight. The game is obviously not story-driven, it’s all about action. FEATURES • Classic gameplay. • 10 levels split into sub-areas, which gives us about 30 stages. • Upgradable weapons and a range of special abilities to choose from. • Pure run and gun action. Quite challenging and competent. I'll use a mad catz and see if it helps. redribbon Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2010 2,799 53 48 entepreanur, programmer #5 redribbon, Jun 24, 2015 been waiting for this game for ages. thanks binlabu for the post. nice find. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,964 717 113 England #6 psj3809, Jun 24, 2015 Nice find. Kenan2000 Well-Known Member Nov 25, 2013 1,134 1 38 #12 Kenan2000, Jun 24, 2015 You can buy continues, items, weapons with credits (weapons drop from bots and randomly appear in the stages),you can also upgrade items/weapons with credits. You can buy credits via IAP or just gain it by playing/replaying stages. Continues cannot be bought via credits though, only via IAP,but they are not really important since you have a hp bar that consists of 3 lives that you can restore if you loose some hp by collecting medkits throughout the stage,if you die,you have to start the stage again,so continues are unimportant. jibjelly Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 356 0 0 #13 jibjelly, Jun 24, 2015 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Ð¡Ð¸Ð¿Ñ Active Member Apr 29, 2015 35 0 0 #14 СипÑ, Jun 24, 2015 Pretty hard to control. The IPAs are so deep. Grimstone82 Well-Known Member Jan 3, 2011 594 0 0 Northbrook, IL #15 Grimstone82, Jun 25, 2015 This could be a good game but the controls are nowhere near as sensitive or as precise as they need to be for a game as fast paced and as hectic as this. It looks amazing, but the terrible controls absolutely destroy its playability. It's just not any fun to play in its current state. MFi support would probably help immensely but of course there isn't any. It's really a shame because you can tell the devs spent a lot of time on this. Hopefully they will fix the controls in an update, and soon. ashmike3 Well-Known Member May 15, 2014 660 9 18 #16 ashmike3, Jun 25, 2015 Reminds me a little of Contra, based on redribbon video. As opposed to actually working on things such as gameplay mechanics, storyline, less intrusive tutorials, janky controls and actual enjoyment. It's slow to register any tap and pulling off Amy move like jumping and firing is a serious chore. I got so frustrated from it not registering my taps that I've deleted it. I rarely ever just delete something. It could be a good game but I'm will not fight the controls more than the enemies in the game itself. How the dev released it in this way I just don't understand. First impressions are important. Fix the control dev. Billy kopicha Well-Known Member Feb 21, 2015 716 25 28 IT #19 kopicha, Jun 25, 2015 Agree.. Looking at the video it just look cheap. Basically like you said slapping the word unreal engine to make it looks appealing. The one complaint everyone had even in the PC version were the controls, looks like they didn't do anything to fix them. It's a shame, the game would've worked so much better if it had a dual-stick setup, if you could aim and shoot independently of your movement. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
