I usually put it on auto battle and use the skills manually since auto seems to not use skills. It's a pretty fun game though, a beefed up line defense game. skipdaddy Member Jun 8, 2012 14 0 0 #14 skipdaddy, Dec 9, 2014 This game is very fun for a freemium. I'm on Act 3 and have yet to hit a pay wall. The game is very generous in the resources it gives you. Premium characters cost 50 prysm, and you get 10 prysm for completing fairly regular character missions. You get character missions from normal and premium drops. I usually put the battles on auto unless I'm attempting a mission that is a higher level than my party. But the gameplay is still fun because you have still have to decide when to use skills and sometimes take it off auto if things are going badly. Another thing that stands out for this game is the well done story. For a "free" game this definetly has better plot development than other games of the same genre. One of the cooler things about the story is that you can make choices. I don't know if they impact missions but it changes the dialogue you get in the cutscenes. On top of the plot there are like 250 unique characters all with different 3d character models, voices, and personalities. Sometimesthe allies you acquire will even participate in story cutscenes. Again, all currency in this game isn't too hard to acquire. Sometimes there is a grind to level, but I have yet to hit a point where I've had to grind to complete a story mission. As long as you are patient for the timers, this game is very fun, I recommend. RoboWarrior Well-Known Member Oct 3, 2012 658 0 16 #17 RoboWarrior, Dec 10, 2014 The art is reminiscent of Maoyū Maō Yūsha is it the same character designer? pentarou Active Member Mar 18, 2012 32 0 0 #18 pentarou, Dec 10, 2014 Bingo. The artist names are left in Japanese on the character pages so you can look them up if you recognize them. The main artist is indeed the same guy and the JP version of the game has had collabs with Maoyu and Log Horizon (same author as Maoyu, different artist). To my knowledge there is one official forum and two unofficial forums devoted to the international version of the game: gumi's official forum - http://forums.gumi.sg/forum/chain-chronicle unofficial forums: http://chainchronicleforum.net/ - more active International group, offshoot from the Brave Frontier community http://www.chain-chronicle-forum.com/ - more active JP group, offshoot from the Puzzles & Dragons community Official forum is not very active. The guy running the latter pulled me to help out so I've been writing a bunch of guides and such for his forum, but the former seems to be more active with international players (and rerollers, lol).
