Imagine this: cats, in space, in space suits with laser guns! And jet packs! And the power of planetary gravitation! On your phone! Yeah, we know what you're thinking: "Are you kitten me?!" Nope, we're not. We, rapidrabbit a small indie studio from Germany have launched a Kickstarter campaign today, to crowdfund our mobile puzzle game Cats in Space Suits (iOS, Android). In fact, this will be one of the first Kickstarter campaigns in Germany ever: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rapidrabbit/cats-in-space-suits Picture this: It's a warm and lazy day, you're taking a cat-nap in the sun, when suddenly a sneaky, green alien breaks into your house and steals all your toys! Traumatic, we know. This is exactly what happens to our space cat! Now what? Obviously the cat has to hunt the alien to get its toys back. A cat without toys? What a cat-astrophy! And so an epic space odyssey begins. We've illustrated our cat's adventure with cartoons to guide you through the story. You as a player help the cat space hop from one space station to the next one. Sounds easy, right? You take a cat-apult, strap down the cat-stronaut, and fire the feline fellow into the galaxy. But wait! Ever heard of planetary gravitation? Exactly! If you want to navigate in space, keep gravity in mind. Otherwise you might drift away and never reach the next space station (however, if you drift into George Clooney somewhere out there, say hi from us, ok?). At the beginning our fluffy friend has only the cat-apult propulsion to get to the next station. In later stages it will receive a jet pack to accellerate its journey or even a little rocket, capable of thrust reversal. We love what we do! So even though we're only a small software studio, we've already put quite a lot of money and working hours into this project. As a result we've not only developed most of the basic elements, but we nearly completed the first 24 levels of Cats in Space Suits. For the last bit, we need your help to takeoff with full power.
