Stopped playing just long enough to post this: get this game, it's awesome! It's like Super Mario Galaxy meets Centipede (well the only way it's like Centipede is that you grow longer by eating fruit, the game play is much more like SMG).
Motion sick... Only personally speaking and very unfortunate for me: yes, i had to quit playing at level 4. The worlds were turning too fast. Sorry my dear Devs and Ryan to say that in all honesty, but it affected ME. I really hope though that i'm in a circle of a very little minority.
played it last night before bed and my head was spinning and I couldnt fall asleep :/ it's fun and looks amazing but ugh does it hurt me inside
No motion sickness here, thank goodness... The more I've been playing this the more I'm realizing how well done this is. Everything is polished and the whole experience is so fleshed out. The dev really didn't miss a single nuance. From the menu navigation to the gameplay, it's a super solid title. I hope people aren't put off by the reports of motion sickness. I'm sorry to those who are affected by this...
It has gotten better with time. Now I'm more used to the spinning and I know what to focus on to not get woozy. And not every level is as nauseating as some in the first world. Unless you're ridiculously, incredibly susceptible to motion sickness, I would absolutely play this game.
I'm in love with Caterzillar!#❤️ This will be in my 2016 list... P.S. His eyes when he is collecting the stars!#
This game is very cute but it just makes me want to play Soosiz again. That was the original game and there are more levels, which imo are better designed for a challenge. An additional bonus is there is an unlockable world as well if you can get all the stars from memory. For .99$ if you like this game you should do yourself a favor and get Soosiz HD. This is a great game as well. I hope we get more more worlds soon.
Well, this is a little too close to Soosiz - TouchFoo should have been credited in this game (at least "inspired by" or something similar). On the other hand: Soosiz is more than 6(!) years old and if TouchFoo isn't doing a successor it's okay if another developer picks up this concept. And Caterziller is really, really great! Graphics (60fps on iPhone5), controls, gameplay, music (only too silent by default). 9/10 and definitely on my games of the year list.
It's true. I just noticed that the app icons are almost identical as well. It's like a 6 year update on a great game. I just wish Caterzillar had more hidden areas and rewards for exploring.
This game is excellent from top to bottom. Particularly the last world when there's so many new mechanics introduced. I feel this is when the game shines the most and sets it apart from Soozis. Will there be more levels? I've only got 3 left to go
