^ lol. Shockingly true. And yeh, thanks for pointing me back to page 4, I'd actually forgot you'd done that. Well looks like my retro30 on a 6+ is equivalent to your retro20 on a 6.
If any beginners who are itching to know anything, you can just ask us on this thread P.S *grumbles* zombie necromancer *grumbles* P.S.S I just had to open the wrong door...did I
Is there any reason why after trying to sleep a bunch of times (unsuccessfully), my view range now looks like this? And is there any reason why I couldn't sleep?
Hell, I had more fun reinstalling it twenty times to find the optimal terminal size than I have had with the past year's worth of iOS fare
It looks as if it's gone dark, but there's a small light source - so you can see around that source and then around your immediate area but not any further. Failing to sleep can be through a number of things. Noise, weather, coldness, being uncomfortable (e.g. sleeping on a hard floor), your traits such as insomnia, and just not being tired can all influence your ability to sleep. You can find things in the world to combat all of those. For example, earplugs to drown out sound, shelter for weather, fires, blankets and sleeping bags for warmth, beds for comfort, sleeping pills for insomnia/lack of tiredness.
What do you mean reinstalling? You just had to restart the app! Close out of memory and then open again.
No, it was outside of display range those times. I was experimenting with HUGE terminal settings, and when you go too high it just left a black screen. Without being able to directly edit the config file, the only recourse was reinstallation.
Well then. I feel sheepish, hehe. Did you see my screenshots earlier in the thread? 170x75 with BT going is GREAT. You did a fantastic job porting this over! Thank you!!!
Your character is cold and couldn't sleep because of it, there are many ways to combat this. -Go inside a building -Wear more clothes/find warm clothes -Go to the evac shelter, find a emergency blanket, [a]apply it and [w]wear it P.S if you have all of the stuff and still couldn't sleep, it's because your character isn't sleepy enough, find cough syrups or sleeping pills in houses.
Warning: Do not light a fire in a basement to help you see better, lest you will find your self back at the character creation screen. No i'm not speaking of a recent personal experience, i'm not that stupid.... . ... . .
Just a normal basement under a house. Got tired of the limited field of view so tried to start a small fire to speed up the exploration. Ended up being surrounded by a couple of Z's while simultaneously choking smoke.
