We're not ready to show this yet, but in short, yes you will be able to interact with different NPCs in some way. We're undecided, but we are learning towards a premium game, or at the very least, a freemium game with an option to go premium. Yes, we plan to do a beta. We'll let everyone know once we're ready!

I really love what you guys are doing. The gameplay looks super smooth and like something I could enjoy for hours! Are you planning to publish the game yourself? Or are you looking for a publisher?
Even though I was VERY skeptical about the combat in crashlands it worked out very well and I think it will work wonders for this game. Really hyped about this!! Being able to go into towns from the world map would be really awesome.

It's been a while since we posted any updates! We were working on launching our first game 'Slashy Hero' on Steam, but we're back now!! We'll be posting more updates now, and we wanted to start things off with a cool new thing we made. Zooming out! Instead of a minimap, we're giving players the ability to zoom out to see the lay of the land. Its friggin cool in motion!
Really cool on the zooming out feature. It will be cooler if the landmark has some sort of pointer on the zoom out map. I am ready. Get the beta going lol
Yup! We are planning to add that in. When you zoom out, you will see markers on all the landmarks that have interesting things(quests etc). It will also show you which ones you have completed, so you can 100% the map.
We're proud to show a near final version of the combat system! It's pretty much there just with some minor polish here and there! What do you all think of it? - Added enemy tells, so you will know when an attack is coming and can avoid it. - Certain enemies have different patterns to their tells, so it will require different strategies. - Added a charge in so player will be able to close in much faster when they slash. - Enemy gets knocked back after you slash them. - Added health bars to enemies!
