I am a member of The Gentlebros, and we're a 3 man game studio from Singapore!Let me just say that its always been our dream to start our own indie studio(we're all ex Koei Tecmo devs), and we can't wait to share with you guys our next project! Cat Quest is an open world adventure game for mobile devices(woo!) and PC!We're still really early in development but we do have an exploration teaser to show! ;D Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Gameplay We're aiming to build an accessible open world adventure that works great on mobile, and also something you can continue playing at home.Think of it like a cross between Skyrim, Zelda and Final Fantasy, but streamlined to work well on mobile devices.Players will play as an adventuring cat(that you can customise!) as they explore a massive world at will. Combat is entirely real time, and will consist of a mix of close range combat and long range spells! There will also be caves and dungeons scattered around that you can enter for pawesome loot! We've also scattered many secrets around the map too, so exploration should be really fun!There are even super duper strong monsters and enemies that roam the world, offering end game goals if players want a challenge. Quests To be honest, we're still working on the tools we'll need to build quests, but we've penned an epic story filled with dragons, ancient races and lost civilizations! And we can't wait to work on it! Seriously, we can't! :-* Right now, we're just going to keep posting updates as we have them,but we hope we can get feedback from everyone here as we do! Combat update! Hi everyone! Here's an update of the combat system. We tested it with more enemies at the same time, and its working great!
Leveling up So being an RPG and all, leveling up is a must! This is kinda how its gonna look. No max level, you can go as long as you want!
Hope you offer beta testing because I'll def help. This game looks amazing and the gifs make me want to play it even more. Looks like a legit rpg and I've never seen a style like this ... Very unique

In the second paragraph they state: "Players will play as an adventuring cat(that you can customise!)" So I think so! I knew that candy looked familiar, you guys also made Slashy Hero right? Knowing how polished Slashy was I can't wait for this game. Count me in beta testing if/when you guys get to that point. Well done, this game looks awesome!
Absolutely! Players will be able to completely customize the cat. Right down to the color, eyes, mouth and spots! This is not including the different armors and cosmetics you will be able to put on your cat as well. :3
Yes! We made Slashy Hero! We were hoping people might recognize the candy! You see that mansion too? Lets just say you might be fighting in familiar territory and battling familiar enemies in that dungeon. Exactly what we are going for! Glad you like it.
I know it's early days but do you have a tentative or target release date? Something as vague as winter this year etc would be cool. Thanks
We have a production schedule and we're aiming either for a late 2016 or early 2017. Wish us luck to meet it! XD
