At last!!!!Some good news: after the same question "would you release soon or later (or never?) new levels for Cat Physics (or a Cat Physics2?) ?" sent to Mr Donut Games, here is the reply: Hi Nico, Work on CP2 has been started several times over the years, but something always seem to come in-between so that we have had to put it aside again. As for CP1, we already have 60 new levels built and put in pipeline. They haven't been quality tested yet though, so we can't release them straight away. But you know what, I'll have a chat with the team right away and see if we can get these levels QA'd. And hopefully I can upload them in a week or two. Kind regards Daniel Zandelin Donut Games
Personally, I'd rather see DG put the levels and effort into CP2 at this point, and let everyone compete from a level playing field in a fresh, new game. I don't think I even have CP1 installed/saved off anywhere at this point.
The new levels are not part of the original pack (as level 101 - 160), but put in a separate bonus pack. In other words, these bonus levels will have a new, fresh starting point. We figured that approach would be best, not only because a 100+ level list feels somewhat clumsy to scroll through and get an overview of, but new players would also get an alternative starting point in case they get stuck in the original pack. I really appreciate you wanting to pay for the new levels. But since Cat Physics is one of our older games, we didn't see a point in trying to milk out a few extra bucks for the new level pack. It would be more of an annoyance both for our old faithful players and for us (cluttering down good old classics with IAPs). So the new level pack will be added as a free pack (on iOS that is, since ppl have already paid for the game in the first place. On Android it comes as a free bonus when removing the ads) If you really want to support us, which we GREATLY appreciate, buy one of our newer games as a thank you back. Like Micro Battles 1, 2 or 3.
