I am currently working on an article on arrows. Found already some noteworthy facts. However, what you are mentioning sounds interesting. I assume that you mean that arrows which have on look the same gardient/inclination do react differently on the ball? Is that right understood? Do you have examples?
It is one of those recommended here. But this one works. It is called Screenshot Journal and comes from UIForge. It costs a few p. Not many.
Yes DTD is the best example. It appears that some sadistic person at DG made the arrows only apparently equal. DRS006 or what it's called is similar. Also HTGO. The up arrows are not equal. Maybe their angle is 0°, 0.05° and 0.1° or something. The same person at DG thankfully eased the issue by making the over/under properties of each arrow different so that the nine arrows in DTD can be identified.
Yeah! 540@49. One of my nemeses is history. And the wait-five-minutes-theory is wrong. I made it on the 13th up movement.
I wouldn't discount the theory based on one person getting it in 13 shots. Trust me, I spent a lot of time playing and analyzing 49 back in the day, and it most definitely took a few minutes for things to set up correctly. I remember comparing screen shots where I thought I should have gotten the high score when firing within the first dozen shots or so. Guess what? The arrows matched exactly, yet the path was slightly different. So, no, not a blown theory.
I dunno if you are right or not, Mike. Maybe me (and two other guys who told me they got 540 rather quickly) were only lucky, if that is an adequate word after quite a few frigging hours on RT2. It appears that the probability of a 540 shot is very small anyway. Whether it is slightly bigger after 5 mins I cannot really tell even if I tried. And I mean I tried. I only wanted to say that it is perfectly possible in the third shot. I had lots of 539 in the first shot too. The 540 path didn't look optimal. My first 539 was better in the first part. Hope nobody reads this and squeezes another point out of this nightmare level. Papp P.S. I'll never learn proper English. Is it correctly optimal or optimally. Shoot.
Well, I don't think it is a matter of right and wrong here. Both ways obviously work. You were able to hit it early, but I spent days trying that with no success. It wasn't until I let it sit for a few minutes that I quickly got the score. Who knows, maybe it has always been that way, and it is a matter of luck. Or maybe newer hardware, or an update caused something to change... No clue.
Will the screen shots still match in 1.22? Should be ok because the old screens still match these on my 5 P.S. back to this shade of pain
OK I backuped my phone and downloaded the update. Don't do it! They did a complete botch job in adapting for the iPhone 5, they just stretched the image to fit it to the wider screen. Not only are the arrows now oval, but also no screen shot will ever match. Hope the restore will work!
Then i had luck to install 1.21 on my new ip5. the black bar at the side does not disturb. i will not update. i hope they take back this worsedate.
Quick interim report: Restore did not work. All apps including CP gone. But I am optimistic for tomorrow's attempts. I fear though that 540@49 is lost.
