Ooo Ooo Rules!!! I llllloooooooovvvvvveeeee rules! Can I make a suggestion.... Rule 1 Anyone finds a new point, they must email Brooksie first. Rule 2 Anyone hiding a secret point, they must email Brooksie straight away. Rule 3 Anyone finding points must not update until they have emailed it to Brooksie first. Rule 4 Anyone breaking rules 1,2 or 3 gets an automatic ban from CP with no right to appeal. Rule 5 Anyone found to be bending the rules or using any loop holes, will be subject to a severe spanking from Gimpy! I think these sound logical and fair to everyone! Take it easy guys.
You can only send brooksie and Dennis timing Lvls first but they have to mail the rest of us right away to insure we stay ahead of you lol.
I knew the fallout would come from my post. Call them rules, guidelines, game etiquette, or what have you... Most people want others to follow some level of fairness, but cringe when asked to follow it themselves. I like the concept of establishing something even if it's as simple as revealing the level you find points on. One thing for sure, this game opens up and shows the true character of people.
What fallout pal? I didn't notice any posts having a go and everyone is gay in Gimpys eyes.... If you are referring to my post, I am only jesting with you! The thread was sounding way too serious. As nice a idea as rules or game etiquette sound, the main problem is 'rules are made to be broken!'. So it doesn't matter what anyone agrees to, greed and power will no doubt creep in, we are only feline! Remember, Cats generally only show loyalty when they are hungry! I think generally, people will reveal their points when they are happy to, so everyone should get them in the end! It will soon be a case of which 19 other people get them first to stay on top page! Personally, I would like to stay in the top 20, so if a few points aren't passed around that will help (I think?). Caveat - Though if they are, can everyone make sure I get a copy! Take it easy. By fallout, I simply meant I knew there would a share of posts similar to those posted. No big deal at all. Regarding your post; I am one to usually say exactly what you did to lighten things up. Can't take this too seriously... It is just a game.
Precisely.......in an ideal world the idea is good and I think generally most people do share pretty quickly. But everyone has a freedom of choice I guess and you have to respect that. Though I do agree that it would be good to at least know what level to look for a point on as a minimum, I have reached a point that Gimpy mentioned a few weeks back on waiting for someone to take pity on you and provide a freebie! (or something like that) It is hard to summon the energy to trawl through 80 levels having seen them endlessly for months....... By the way, I said Chicken & Egg was boring a few days back! How wrong was I, completely addicted to it. I am drawing up a set of Rules as I write. So those that haven't had a go, get your Whiskers over there and do the Funky Chicken!
Nice! Make sure you get the rules notarized, and you can have the Gimp enforce it with his much often talked about stick.

Yeah, I wouldn't call it fallout either. The current state of the game is an odd one. It isn't like the old times where you could share, trade, keep secrets, and do whatever and still have a very dynamic leader board. Of course there were lots of points still to find back in the days, so all of that worked. So I understand people not wanting to follow rules and/or reveal their secret points. And as I mentioned, I liked the "rules", but they'd only ever work if everyone followed them. I already pointed out that it is extremely unlikely that WizLo would. And guessing by their lack of presence here in the forum, they don't care, and have no desire to share. So the whole rules things is a moot point. The reason I like the rules is that it does allow a bit of fairness. I keep bringing this up, but the *problem* I see had a clear example yesterday: Nichos found 3 points and shared them with everyone. Of course Wiz and Lo jumped on those points to boost themselves to the #1 and #2 positions. Now it appears they found something on their own. At least 1 point, but maybe 2. I can guarantee that Nichos didn't get any of those points. He got one point from Wiz -- his previous secret point, which seems to be making the rounds to various people. That is just one case, but WizLo are effectively grabbing up all of the freely available points, and not giving anything back in return. Of course that is their choice to keep secrets. But for the new folks, you probably weren't around to see all of Wiz's whining and crying about being open. And how many posts, messages, and emails he had sent me asking me to reveal *all* of my points. Basically Wiz was all about being open until he reached the top.
