I checked a few languages. It also works from Dutch "Ik heb koolmezen" into many other languages including Catalan, Greek, Japanese, Spanish, Polish. Portuguese, Vietnamese and Norwegian. In Latin it shows that Google probably translates to English first. The Italian, French and Chinese translations are correct for some reason. No, I don't speak all these.
