If you have Garfields arrows then just keep at it. Try varying your speed, his arrows don't require an ultra quick launch from the cat. Use the bottom arrow to open door.

I spent months on the old arrows and never got it, took a day or so with Garfields.

Don't give up hope, his arrows will get you 652.
