I have to agree with you here. I was just thinking the other day that it is goofy that everyone is sharing the top spot. I mean, it is cool to see people with all of the points, but it definitely takes away the excitement of playing the game. There is not catching up, or trading, etc. like we use to do. Now we all sit around with the same score until someone finds a new one. And then we all scramble to get that point, change up the leader board ordering a bit, and then sit around with the same score until the next point. I completely understand why you aren't playing CP. NOTE: I should say that all of this hasn't stopped me from getting the points, but the Gimp is right!
Oh come on guys, this is just a break. If I find a point, (God help me), I feel kind of obligated to share it with all of you. When the new levels will be out, we start all over again with stealing and dealing... Lets say, IF I find a point, wouldn't some of you be totally pissed if I don't share? After all the help some of you gave me? So for now the only sport is to find a point and get on top of the list...
I agree with both sides should be a week or two before everyone gets them but this is still better than a 3 to 4 month stalemate but we all know when new Lvls come out it will be defferent plus everyone getting htgo and me getting more buttons made a big change in the game too.
I agree with you. No dealing, no begging, no stealing is just the ideal situation. If this game were not so funny, not so addictive, I guess it is possible, because no one care about it any more. But the truth is that this game is so great! What's more, there is a high score table there! I know it's just a game, but I can see some kind of glory, challenge and self-satisfaction there. Besides, some levels are really too hard to figure out without anyone's help. What would you do if you spend ten hours but still couldn't find the top score solution? For me, I wouldn't spend another ten hours If I could find new points someday, I'd like to share with you.
I have to agree with Dennis. The new levels will be what brings back the excitement. With all the help I've gotten from the top ten there is no way I'm going to sit on a found point. If that makes it boring or goofy to some, so be it.
I never said for anyone to sit on a point. That wasn't the point (no pun intended) I was trying to make when agreeing with Gimpy. Seriously, how fun is it to try and find a new point these days? I haven't found my own point since last October or November when got the 2 on Enclosed Teleporters. I guess I am not having fun knowing that I'd have to spend 20+ hours on a level for one stinkin point. And new levels aren't going to help much. Seriously, how long did it take to max out those last 10? Not counting Uphill. Unless DG releases more than 10 levels thefun will last for about a day given how we all play. I think CP2 is what would bring back my enthusiasm. Not only would we get 50+ levels to begin with, DG would make more money. They have no motivation to add more levels here, and from the sounds of it who knows when and if they will show. Sorry, not trying to rain on everyones parade. I was just agreeing with Gimpy. If folks find the current state fun, then that is great.

I agree CP2 would be ideal. But in the current situation, finding and sharing with the people that got us here is the only sane way for me to play the game at this point. It may not make it fun for some, but it's my only option to be fair to those that helped me. And personally, I want the top ten or so to be equal when the new levels come. We can fight to the death at that point. We will max out 10 or so levels quickly, but I've lived and breathed CP for so long I am not ready to find reasons not to play and I am enjoying all the recent activity on the forum and in the game. I respect your opinions Mike but my perspective looks at it in a little different light.
Everyone is different dude different horses for different coarses and all that, be boring world if we all had same opinions , i think I actually enjoyeD the forum more than the game that's why I prob have about 2000 posts on this thread alone, so will say sorry to new guys who had to wade through over 200 pages of my carp
Honestly, I think CP2 would be DG's best option at this point. I'd rather see them focus effort into adding levels to a new game instead of the old. My guess is that they don't generate a lot of new sales when releasing level updates. But a new game would! I have no idea what they'll do, but I'd vote for CP2.

Plus this game and this forum is great advertising for there games I have bought a bunch of there games I still like this one the best but look at what this page did for cover orange we all went out and got it because one or two others where talking about it My wife has bought this game and co because I talk about them and a bunch if her friends and my friends have bought them. I think that is why donut keeps making free updates to keep a good repour with there primary costumer base and let's word of mouth do the rest. But I know I would pay 10 bucks for cp2 as would my wife. A d pretty much all of us. Then 2 days later they could make it .99 again but we would all buy it to get a two day head start.
Finally 534xx!! I've the dubious honor of being the first in "400 club" out of top20 I prefer more levels than a new CP2. It's been very hard arriving here and now i'm ready to compete for top10 when new levels arrive Thanks to i-Luis and all of you for your help!
