T, you mean bane or pain? Probably both! Or rather gain? Haha, jokes in English from a Hun! I think I will try to reserve restricted time slots for the game to keep me from sneaking to the loo to tweak just that one little level... I don't know why, but I sometimes feel sort of personally offended every time Dennis gets me again. This is not sane but bane. Or pain? Or both? By all means not gain! Then again, I have been trying IA during my choir rehearsal and hope I am on the right way. I am confident that quite a few more points are possible. Until later Pappnase
Just to add to the previous description of myself being totally bonkers I was thinking to draw a line on the iPhone screen with waterproof felt pen to indicate the optimal path (which is a straight line from the cat to the point the ball must go) for #39 and then go for some happy hours of tweaking...
bane of course, but it could be pain This game is driving me insane, I cannot even spell anymore It definitely is not gain - I cannot even get into the top 5
Lol, at least you are as bonkers as me . I drew round an arrow on #34 with a dry whiteboard marker pen as I was fed up of keep moving the arrow and getting the placement wrong. I now have a magnifying glass and a husband that can use photoshop
I have surrounded an arrow with scotch tape so I could get the alignment right after doing the door trick. Funny how a game can make you do some stupid stuff eh?
Hmm I tried that with masking tape before the whiteboard marker. The problem with that was the arrow moved each time I tried to stick the masking tape down I cannot believe I am admitting to such insane things, I am a mother of small children for goodness sake
I can't say I have done anything as crazy as you guys have been doing. But this is where an undo (or redo?) function would be useful. As long as it didn't say mess up the opening of a trapdoor, you could move an arrow to open the door, and then "undo" that arrow movement so that it goes right back to where you want it to be. Of course that would make it too easy, right?
Mike, with all due respect, you may not have abused innocent masking tape or use magnifiers and stereo microscopes but you must be as crazy as the rest of us or you wouldn't be the champ. Wasting 3-figure hours of time to one silly game.
You got me there! And if I had photoshop installed or a microscope, I'm sure I would have used those. I do have masking tape, but I can't say using tape ever crossed my mind. I have taken screen shots so that I could refer to them at a later time.
Good observation! I also have a hard time imagining that 14 more points would be possible on Tunnel Toss. I've tried to play around with really tightening up my path, but I usually end up with a lower score.
Don't take it personal Pappnase, I like your competition! But I know what you mean, I feel the same sometimes. About the choir: Stop playing, start singing!
Amazed First thing in the morning: checking the forum and the global scores. And yes: The Guru, The Champ, The Head Physician did it again: 32607! Mike, maybe you retire? And the forum: I knew of one person using a stereo microscope , but I can't believe what I'm reading... Muscular tape, markers, drawing lines and circles... I only use screenshots. There's crazy people in the Cat Physics world. OK, I confess: I also hide in the toilet, trying to tweak a level.... Happy Catting!
I wish I could, I really do! But this is one addiction that I can't seem to kick. And as the high scores start to wind down -- I only got 7 points today, and 8 points yesterday -- the new levels will arrive, and then we'll all be spending a lot more time playing through those. Oh, and I tried to find that extra point in Shredders for abjr, but I couldn't do it. I really think we've maxed that level out.
Identifying arrows in #39 I did some further research in the arrow dilemma in #39 and developed a simple method to number the arrows. The method is as follows: move an arrow over all others and count how often it would appear above the other arrow. All arrows have different figures here. As a numbering scheme, I took the arrangement in the initial screen where all nine arrows are neatly arranged, see the pic below. For example, you take one of the 5 left arrows and test it on the other 8. You'll notice that this arrow goes on top only two times. This must be arrow 4. To whom it may be of any help Pappnase
