Ah grim. So what scores were you getting before you changes the arrows? I'm on 600 right now but can't see that changing the arrow orders would get me 8 points. Maybe one or two...
I thought I had seen it before in Surface tension but blamed it to the person who posted the screen. I just tried another combination and now the ball shoots much too high. Blimey! I investigated arrow properties: right arrows RA: 1 super arrow (goes over all LAs) 2 mixed arrows (go over 3 LA, under 2 LA) left arrows LA: 3 underlings (get covered by mixed RAs) 2 masters (cover mixed RAs) There may be more differences but I am so frustrated that I stopped. Who on earth designed this? And why? I think I just leave the screenshot and try to tweak manually. Bother! So many arrows and every pixel counts. P P.S. statistics not to be taken literally. Didn't take notes.
In this level 1 pixel can be a lot of points. So why not. I exchanged my right arrows to find the missing point but nothing changed. So there are probably two identical up arrows and there are only two or three combinations to try.
That is really bizarre. I had never noticed this issue with the arrows before. I guess I have just gotten lucky. I wonder if this could be classified as another bug, unless it is that way by design. There is no way I'm going to try and go through all kinds of permutations to see if I can improve various levels. Some of the placements are hard enough without having to worry about which arrow is going to do what. And 20 levels, wow! That is great, but at the same time I don't know if I can take it!
I've done the arrow swap too, it does affect the outcome. Basa and I work together and our screens would look exactly the same, but different scores, swap two "like" arrows and then we could get the same score. We did think it was probably coincidence because we did afterall move arrows totally out of sync in order to swap and may have just found that one pixel that had eluded us in the past, but after seeing these posts....I'm more inclined to agree with arrows having some sort of hidden differences.
Was just reading through last few pages on here and was thinking few things (geek nerds looking way too deep into this) and come to the conclusion .............. I LOVE YOU GUYS....... Shaun Keep up the good work
Aren't you going on vacation soon? . I can't take it if you are going to find more points on levels like IA. I think I'd rather poke my eyes out than play that level again.
And in the meantime he continues to find points! Yes, next week I'm going for two weeks, I'm going to miss you all... Playing my Cat Physics on the beach of Crete...
I actually don't mind Shredders as much. I'd rather play that level than IA. Actually, I'd rather play neither of those levels ever again!
Ok up and down really doing my head in mr pap gave me few tips last night but my little brain can't see how to get anywhere near 591 pleeeeese help this tard out .... If anything just pity me lol
Since I'm totally stuck on the levels I have left I started to tweak another "favourite" 39, Down the Drain, and just got it to 500
For some reason I thought a 500+ score on 39 was possible. Ugh, four more points to get. You guys are killin' me.
