How do you unlock the other characters? Do they have unique abilities. Is there a crown on every level? Bought the $1.99 without hesitation.
Oof. That sounds tough AKD. I made it through "Mechanism" on Grasi. Another rough one with lots of descending precision. I finished Grasi and am currently stuck on "Thin Line" on Winda (World 3). I'm not a big fan of the new mechanic introduced in Winda and I'm getting some frame drops, which makes it even harder. This might be "the end of the line" for me. # Maybe I'll take a stab at a Marta speed run? Edit: I did the Marta speed run. I'm in last place. 14:34 with 30 deaths. Ha. Great job on 6:40! Edit 2: 9:33 with 9 deaths. That's enough for now. Edit 3: 9:02 with 10 deaths. # (I guess it wasn't enough.)
There are other characters? # There seem to be a set number of crowns per world (8/6/6), so not every level.
At the Marta world overview page, I have 7/8 crowns found. While I have not found the 8th one, it does indicate that an 8th one exists. Do you have ?/7 instead?
There are definitely 8. I've got them all. Edit: all 20 crowns now collected and story completed. It's odd that the Crown King achievement unlocks after finding 19/20 crowns. It was nice to see a thanks to Jussi Simpanen in the credits. I was reminded a lot of his games as I was playing, and I'm sure I'm going to have just as much fun with the time trial mode on this.
I also got the 8/8. That last one was clever. If it's the same one I'm thinking.. Nice job with finishing the story. I'm on the first level of Winda. The difficulty of World 2 is noticeably higher than the 1st World for sure. Marda was fun to speedrun because it's pretty easy to memorize a good path and it only took a couple tries to get a decent time. I do want to complete a run without dying. I think I died once in the last speedrun.
Oh woops! Will fix that in the next update. Yep, I do plan on adding another world.. also I want to add some 'special' areas where you need crowns to go through.
Same here. Yep. 7/6/6 Edit: Until just now it said 6/7, now that I've found the "last" one, it says 7/8. Some of you guys could have mentioned that ... Edit 2: Ok, found the eighth. And since it wasn't a special or boss one or something, I'm quite sure that's a bug. Especially in view of that 19/20 achievement thing someone mentioned. I guess there has been an earlier version with only 19 crowns overall ...
That explains it! I was sure I'd found all the crowns on the first world and was surprised when I realised I'd missed one.
This is my kind of game! Amazing work, Ryan. 5 stars and GOTW for me. Just finished no-death speed runs for worlds 1 & 2. 3 will be a doozy. Love that another world is planned!
Can't even get past the fourth level - Push Bird. I'm sure it's something stupid I'm missing but I push the block into the water (milk?) but the gap is still too far to jump and float across. Is there some way to use the other block?
What has that poor block ever done to you? Hint: Spoiler If you want to paraglide, you need to go up a hill first ...
Great platform game! I love the new mechanics on every world, i think can be really great a attack mechanic for the next world, automatic fire maybe? secrets areas, false walls, some items would be great 2! Love the game, congrats!
