Castlevania: Lords of Shadow new trailers and gameplay.

I guess Konami decided to go the GOW-DMC route. I'll be getting this as long as the initial reviews are good. Oct 5th

 

A huge doubt is in my mind about this coming out in 3 weeks time. Can't see it happening.

 

it blows my mind how far animation has come. i can remember back in the day the first video i saw in a game.. was just basic 3d animation but blew my mind.. and this is just 20x better.. thumbs up to all the artist

I have a feeling its gonna be a GOW knockoff and get in the 70s average reviews on metacritic....hopefully its good tho

It does look good though. I mean I am a huge Castlevania nerd so inevitably I will play it.

 

I'll agree that the combat system is darn near identical to GOW but the creatures, world and story Konami has created looks quite unique.

 

I can wait another week for the demo.

 

It says demo out for regular PSN users on the 29th.

 

Anyone who has a PLUS subscription please post some impressions of the demo as soon as you can.

Oct 5th is the release date unless they changed it just recently. I already paid in full reserved this and Fallout NV. Still undecided on Dead Rising 2 since I hear it has the same problems as the first one did.

 

Well I hope the reviews are true, Konami has been putting out too many mediocre Castlevania's in the past 10 years, it's time for a real good one.

 

I get the feeling I'm going to really enjoy this game, but at the same time feel as though it's lost some of it's identity along the way. I'll enjoy it for new reasons, but not because it's Castlevania.
