off the top of my head I remember reaching most chest spots on 1-X where Alucard couldn't by using Simon with the second ability in his tree. It would let him swing from his whip which you cam use and clip up corners you normally would miss. Hope this helps, I'll edit with skill name later when I can.

Im assuming there are other methods, this was just how I did it with the beginning characters.

Update just hit today. Halloween event and store (i dont think even has actually launched yet, cant find it anywhere on screen). Also a big spread of bug fixes, some new moves for some characters, etc. No new grimoires though.

 

Ahh there we go, this morning added the second daily login reward and the Halloween event is in the Order section. Its a gauntlet of increasingly difficult stages with increasing rewards. Set up your characters and see how long you can make it sort of thing. The event is active through mid november.
