There is a tutorial, but I have no idea what is going on when placing tiles. Hopefully it will click for me because the concept is cool. Like. A more complex Square Worlds. The official publishers website links to this free online version you can play. https://www.happymeeple.com/en/board-games/cartographers/overview/ It's been a while since I last played either the digital or the physical version but I find the game to be a bit like a thinking man's Tetris, with different ways to score. The app is totally serviceable and enforces the rules. I believe you play the solo mode of the game. The digital version has optional expansion you can buy. You also get to play the game part more in the digital version. The physical version takes much longer for me, and does feel relaxing to draw. I've seen people draw with color pencils. The game isn't super thinky and is pretty fun. You can find a ton more information on BoardGameGeek. AltsKev likes this.
