Hey guys, I just found that this game has the file sharing system of iTunes enabled. Do you know how this works? Is it for mods?
The wonky controls and no proper indicators to guide me where I'm going really spoils it for me. Sigh. Nevertheless it was a fun nostalgic ride.
It doesn't have an indicator because each race has three different means of winning. It can't point to the next checkpoint, all your opponents, and all the pedestrians at once. Even if they showed one it wouldn't help a whole lot. If races are similar in the reboot I'm hoping for a GTA4 style ground strip for the race course and a mini map with showing opponents as arrows and pedestrians with a heat map.
I can't wait to do this again, it's soooo hard killing all peds by driving over them. I had one map with nearly 600 peds, I was about 15 peds off doing it when the last opponent came and wasted himself by driving into me....ggggrrrrr lol

great news on the fix. i'm so happy this happened. reinstalled on my device. also, as a side bonus, i got my old believed-to-be-lost-forever save, so ... heh thanks devs!
Hhhmmm I just had to close down the app again and re-open to find save file, seems bug still there for me? Also just found another bug, if u receive a phonecall during racing, when u return u lose all sound and when u finish that current race it turns to a black screen and the game has to be exited and shut down again
What does beat the game mean? Finish all races once or finish all with all 3 methods? I'm rank one but I don't have all cars unlocked.
You probably already figured it out, but all you have to do Spoiler to see the ending and unlock all the cars and the final upgrades is to win on the last track, which you have to be Rank 1 to unlock. I just finished this and I really loved this game. Not much for racing, but great for getting aggression out and smashing stuff up.
This is a brilliant game. It's just so entertaining and it's basically infinitely replayable. I dig it! If you like the mobile version, be sure to try the PC version. It's old, yeah, but it's great. The people who made the original Carmaggedon are working on a PC sequel which will be released some time next year, apparently.
