Just wanted to say it's been two years since this game released. I've since got married, had a baby boy, and bought a PS4. I still have this on my iOS devices and play the game. Extremely rare for me but great game design for sure! :)

After all this time it's still one of the very best games in the genre. Actually it's on my overall hall of fame on iOS. Most games come and go but this one is still installed.

It saddens me greatly that the developer isn't considering a Cardinal Quest 3. It would be another classic.

I just fell back in love with this game again.
I agree this has to be one of the best roguelite games available.
It still plays beautifully on my iPhone 6 plus as well as the big iPad Pro.
What makes it outstanding is the way it keeps earned Moral Points (the games currency that can also be bought with iap's) from each play through.
In fact the way it is set up it feels like a real cheat to actually purchase moral points with real money. It is far more enjoyable to earn them through playing.
It is probably this fact alone that made the game unprofitable for the developer to make a sequel.
