Thanks for reviving this thread, I'm into rogue likes now, and I was wondering if the pugilistic was any good?

 

I haven't tried the Pugilist yet... =o/

I just cleared Act II for the first time using the Thief. I LOVE the stealthy gameplay. I also just earned enough moral to unlock the Silent But Deadly perk, so Act III, here I come! =oP

 

I didn't really like the pugilist due to him being kinda limited in what he does (punch stuff), but I did really enjoy the thief, him being my main character.
I love it when you can just vanish in front of 5 monsters' eyes and they're like 'Wut?'

Also if you like winning really cheaply just use a charm spell on the bosses like Xiatol

 

I've been re-discovering this game recently. What a gem. There's also another content update coming soon that adds an endless mode and some new legendaries I believe. Looking forward to that.

I do wish they'd add a dpad input mode though. Swipe input is quite slow compared to tapping, but tapping covers the screen.

Great story! Thanks for sharing. Testament to how epic this game truly is.

Omfg endless mode made this perfect.

 

No lie I am in love with this game again and bought the $4.99 Alchemist just for a thanks to the dev.

 

Animal Bond crashes the app on an iPhone 6 if you cast it then accidentally choose your dog as the target.

Awwsome game otherwise.

Im not a fan of the new icon, but the game's still a 5/5.

 

Darn, I liked the old icon.. it looked cooler.

I'm not sure how to describe the new icon. Funky? Happy? Bright?
