I really like the update. So what are the new cards and how do gold cards work? Do they randomly drop when forging or what's the deal?
After you finish a new level (new levels), You will get an option to craft golden cards. I finished level 91 and got the option to craft a golden pig. -_-
Also mama spider gold from cool chest so pretty much everywhere crafting they only give you lvl 2 golden I just fin it and pretty upset they decided to do that
Noticed there has been card drop changes on the lower levels now also. For instance, I scored two Cows from Ice King 90 instead of Detective Bobby. This update is jammed packed with awesome.
Love this update, but really bummed about the fact that the money received from later on doesnt increase also the drop rates are annoying, with only about 1 in 8 creatures actually dropping a chest, let alone a higher than 1-star rarity card... and so far, the only way to obtain those ridiculous gold 4-star cards is through cool chests, unless anyone has seen otherwise?? But i did love the little surprises hidden around in levels, like finding farmer toms and dark angels in a few levels i love the new magic point generation too, but the cap should be lower than 10 i reckon :/ now... anyone found a mud angel anywhere?!
This new update is pretty rad. The only thing I feel they should touch up on is the cost of the gold cards. I feel that the same MP cost is a littler overpowered, especially for the Algebraic Rares. Their stats shoot up to crazy high levels. On another note, I noticed that only 15 new cards were added, 3 cards per landscape (1 Rare, 1 Very Rare, and 1 Algebraic Rare). The ARs they added are pretty cool. I have Cactus Thug, Captain Taco, and Cottonsaurus Rex at the top of my wishlist.
How did you guys see the new cards? We're they posted on Facebook? I feel like the best chance of getting those is through an algebraic chest.
I picked up a Sand Jackal from the Cool Chest. They've totally tweaked the drop rate on it. I feel like every 5 openings, you get something nice.
I actually think the new rules combined with the gold cards make the game way more imbalanced. I think there was a 2 cost card I seen with 19 attack and 3 cost Patchy the Pumpkin was 30 some damage. By turn two you can really only defend 2-3 lanes unless your playing a ton of 1 cost cards. If I go first cover one lane, my opponent plays 19 attack card in open lane and hits me, next turn I cover the lane with the 19 attack creature and another lane, next turn he drops a 30 attack creature in my last open lane. I'm taking 50+ damage in two turns. Yeah I could be doing the same back to him but without basically all gold cards your not nearly doing enough damage back. Some of these gold cards and 40+ defense. I seen one with 70. This is insane. The new rules would be fine without the gold cards, I see no reason for them. And if it stays like this they need to defiantly increase the life total limit higher then 130. I would also think that you would cap the MP per turn at 5 or maybe even 6 not increasing by one each turn. Like start off with 2 MP, go up by one each turn, but don't go past 5 MP.
Some observations: First off, this is an excellent update. Fortunately the AI is not sophisticated enough to exploit the imbalances mentioned by JDub yet. The new MP system does make the game more balanced than it was. The facility to craft a gold version of a card you already have is costed a little too high. Maybe 3 x Beach Mum = 1 Gold Beach Mum rather than 10 x Beach Mum = 1 Gold Beach Mum? Ten cards is a big ask when it might be 10% of your inventory. I'm currently up to level 116 so only five more levels to go. Haven't had much good loot drop out of chests won in battle but thankfully the Cool chests are paying out a lot more regularly these days. Losing the ability to go over your max inventory is a mistake. The devs really need to add that back in. Grinding out a million gold and then spending that on Cool chests was the only realistic way of building a inventory - either for battle or for crafting - available to those of us who don't want to spend $100 a week on gems. It didn't break the game so I'm not sure why it was removed. My Hero cards are capped at level 25. Opponent's Hero cards are not capped. Despite this both of us are capped at 130 HP? Doesn't make sense. Again, I'd just like to reiterate that this update is excellent and I hope that the devs can maintain this level of craftsmanship for a couple of updates yet.
Sorry guys the money does increase hahaha.. anyway ive found a lost golem and embarrassing bards scattered through levels, and A GOLD SPIRIT SOLDIER on level 115
Did anyone from you dropped any golden card from level this weekend? I was dropping them like once in every two levels but that was before the weekend and now I didn't drop any golden card in around 25 levels beaten (I'm talking about levels from the latest update).
yeah you're right about cool chest drops I've bought in the weekend like 200 of those chests because they were only 10.000 coins each and there was only crap. I've started making list later of my drops from those chests and it looks like it drops mainly: 1. Creatures cards that can only be obtained through drop, with 3 exceptions (Travellin Wizard, Detective Sally, Porcelain Guardian) that can be crafted. 2. Spells cards that can only be obtained through crafting. 3. Buildings cards that can only be obtained through drop. 4. No golden cards. Here's full list of what I've got: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cl6xesSHnGkp2sdmNAr1XSmEAhK7-DgFOWrzd5iZj34/edit?usp=sharing I hope the normal drop will return when they hit the old price of 25.000 coins
