I'm really sorry to everyone who posts in this forum my actions and posts that followed were never intended to draw such attention and lead us away from the real reason we are here and that is to discuss the game. I'm really sorry guys. With that being said can we please get back to discussing the game.
No, I get it, you're the "victim". You played the game into the ground, earned 3 stars on all the levels, got butt hurt over an update and decided to screw over the developer who's game gave you hours and hours of enjoyment until an update was late. Yep, you're totally the "victim". Whatever, man.
If you didn't completely read my reasonings for contacting itunes one of them was not accuiring gems I purchased, once again I'm sorry you think so poorly of me, I never wanted anyone to think this way and regret ever saying anything. I did ask that we please stop this and get back to talking about the game and not a single person. Thank you and have a nice day.
Pleased to see some more like minded people joining the discussion. If your central aim is to complain about the game then perhaps it would be better to move onto another game?
I love the game and can't wait for the update... but paying $5 upfront AND a timer is disgraceful... I can't see how people can defend the devs with 'don't like, don't play' comments when it's blatantly obvious they're taking the piss. At the first release it was like 30% of your hearts to play ONE level at the top end so you couldn't even grind ...greedy. Pay upfront and enjoy the game *whenever* you like (with value IAP) or have it free with whatever IAP / timers the dev wants. Just my 2 cents. So if anyone wants and gets a refund I say good on you
Don't try to reason. It's futile. Do like me, just sit and watch, it's funny to see how they act like this is the only game in the AppStore or how this game is something.special compared to anything else. And also how upset they become because they think apple is the sole reason that the update wasn't released, like they did know when the update was submitted by apple in the first place. Anyway, grab some popcorn and watch. This thread is actually funnier than the game itself.
Yea I beat the game the good old fashion way without spending a dime. I would play 5 or so battles then go back and get a few gems and I don't think I had any real trouble at all except for a few of the second or third stars. As far as decks I wouldn't build a deck with 4x of every strong creatures. I like playing with multiple floop abilities. So 2 would be ok but 4 isn't my style of play.
Sorry I harped on you earlier, man. We just have a difference of opinion on something I feel strongly about, so I agree to disagree. Now, I've made it through the game by basically getting really lucky with the AR chests when it came to Sandy Land creatures (Pieclops,Mud Angel,Sand Golem, Sand Knight smack down combo for the win!). But once I got to the 70's I ran into a pretty steep difficulty spike with all the 5 star cards being thrown around. So, I moved over to a Corn deck. By focusing on a lot of mid range 3-star cards,a few 4 stars and A LOT of 1 star cards as cannon fodder, I dispatched everyone in the Ice Kingdom with ease. My thing is, I've had a ton of luck & success buy playing only one landscape. I feel like multiple landscapes leaves you at risk when you get a bad hand, and god willing, multiplayer might one day come, and I don't wanna get trounced when that day comes. So how does one build the ideal multi-landscape layout effectively? I usually roll with a deck of 18, but I have huge fear of empty lanes and by sticking with one landscape I have tons of cannon fodder to bide my time and unleash my 3-stars and up. I dunno, I feel perplexed by the notion of multi landscapes, but I need to learn how to use them effectively. Anyone run into something similar? A heavy reliance and great success by sticking to just one landscape type? Did anyone mix it up right from the start? I figure multiplayer is just going to be bananas with all kinds of over powered combinations, so I am curious to everyone's different deck techniques. I'm a frigging noob when it comes to this card game stuff.
I use a 4 landscape deck. There are a bunch of creatures that have special abilities per landscape. One nice lands eye creature with a great heal, snappy dresser (from PB act 2), rainbow barfer, etc. My strategy is to have useful or low magic rainbow cards plus the more expensive ones for each landscape. Once you get to BMO act 3 you can get 4x witch way, which is very useful. Also good to have some teleport and crystal ball spells. Can generally use some good cards right away, as is possible with witch way, ninjas as needed, etc.
Yeah, if you're using more than two landscapes you really need 4 x Witch Way plus a significant amount of rainbow creatures to smooth out your draws. In terms of spells I think one of the best card drawers is Crystal Ball, particularly if it's the only card in your hand. Highly recommended.
I snipped your quotes a little, but I have some thoughts/opinions. I agree that 4 copies of one card can be a little excessive. Especially if the cards cost 4/5 MP to cast. . . . I also agree that one landscape ("mono") decks are usually better. I either play 4/0, or 3/1 with my landscapes. I haven't had any luck going 2/2 or 2/1/1 with the landscapes. I generally play a mono Sandy deck. (I try to keep some rainbow creatures in the deck in case I decide to play 3/1). Sandy and Corn are probably the best deck types. Blue Plains and Useless Swamp also have some really awesome cards. Unfortunately, most the powerful Plains/Swamps cards are very rare, or prohibitively hard to craft. . . Nice Lands are the only faction that I believe to be under-powered. Later in the game cards with abilities like "heal 4 HP" aren't very helpful (or even competitive really). If multi-player came out tomorrow, I believe most people would be using a small Corn or Sandy (or Corn/Sandy ) deck. ----////---- My basic strategy has always been to keep the deck small. There's certain cards that are way more valuable in a small deck. "Brief Power" is a perfect example. If you draw that card in your opening hand, it's as good as gold. The more cards you add to your deck, the less likely you are to draw Brief Power from the start, and the less powerful/useful the card becomes. . . You could argue that Brief Power only works in a small deck. Here's my "middle of the road" type of deck. (2) Ms. Mummy (4) Green Cactaball (4) Lime Slimey (1) Sand Snake (3) Beach Mum (1) Earl* (1) Porcelain Guardian* (1) Woad Mobile Home* (1) Brief Power* All of the cards with a * were drawn from a chest, and could be replaced with something similar. (For example: I got an Earl from the chest, you might get a Sand Foot, or something else that would work in that spot). Obviously, I finished the game with a better deck. But, that's my basic style. The little guys are "cannon fodder" and the deck is designed to win (or loose) in about 10-12 turns. .
It's not a problem at all I completely understand why you would say the things you said, it's not easy understanding the situation unless you dealing with it yourself. It was my mistake for ever saying anything. Ok so your running with a single landscape which is ok but the real fun happens when you play around with combinations. Everyone is different depending on what cards you have and your playing style so mine is probably a lot different from yours . I have messed around with combinations since the begining of the game begining with corn and blue plains, these two types gave me the best chance of winning since many of my best cards were of these two types. I ran with this and then added useless swamp towards the end to add a little flare to my deck. Oh also I run max deck always and I will get to my reason for that soon. Right now I have 4 main decks each with unique styles. My favorite being attack defend MEDIC! It revolves around two rows of corn cards with a sandyland in the middle and Niceland on the side. I like to get at least one corn ronin up and 30+ within 2 turns as well as a fummy or my favorite a sandwitch right in the middle pumping up defense. Then I use travelin wizard to heal. Best part is the wizard and witch only use 1 mp per turn for their floop. Ok so what happens if I don't get these exact cards? Well I have back up plans and ways to get the cards I want or cards I can play until I get what I want to play. When using multiple fields always make sure you have a plan A plan B Plan C ect this way if you don't get the cards you want you know exactly what to play or do. In all of my decks i use three field types because nearly all of my spells are focused on increasing my magic. The other spells are for drawing cards. Then I use 3 buildings all school house which increases defense when you use the creatures floop ability. If you need any help putting a deck together let me know what cards you have and I'll come up with something. I have all the time in the world. Just pm me or show me what you have on here. If you don't like it then you don't have to use it but I'll try my best and give you ideas as to what cards I would also get to help you.
Another deck I have is based around shutting the opponent down, reducing everything on their side. Their attack or defense as well as mp. Playing door of strength to keep their creatures off the field. It's a deck I'm still working on but it works really well. Can't do very much with this for an attack
H = Humble If it didn't have Adventure Time theme to it, I wouldn't have bought it. As it is now for IOS I don't recommend buying it. It's just that I always finish everything I buy whether it's good or bad. Didn't cheat too. Sometimes I would be stuck for 3 days fighting the same level waiting for hearts to replenish to build the right strategy so I think it's too much effort to finish for a child and goading them to buy additional cards. Also the crafting thing is sooo imbalanced. It takes too much time to craft and imagine my frustration being able to get all the needed cards (which took 4 days to grind) and realize you don't have enough coins (9M coins for a legion of earlings?!?!?)
It takes one button to approve this game but 4 weeks to approve it must be the slowest button pusher Eva!
Soliuz, I think it'd be best if you just keep quiet, regarding the update at the very least. It's immature and very annoying. I understand you're infuriated, but the jokes are getting abrasive.
