Nothing what I did or said was dishonest. If they didn't feel I had a point I wouldn't have been refunded. They are the ones who said yes your right we are sorry. I was unhappy thus I was refunded. That's all there is to it, I feel some of you are taking this a little to far but hey we are all talking! I'm always happy with that.
Hey, they refunded him. If he gave them that as the honest reason, and they decided to refund him, that's all there is to it. Everything is honest. Plus, the money for apps does not leave Apple and is not being used for anything of real tangible value. It's freakin gems. And yeah, I haven't seen such a slow review process either. I've seen other games or apps that say they released an update and it's usually a couple days. Btw, you can simulate Android on a laptop and play the updated game in the meantime. Just transfer your game.json file to the emulator. I haven't bothered; I simply stopped playing entirely.
good news the update after the update were waiting for should be out by Friday XD! OMFG 2 updates in one day can you imagine how SICK that would be?
Ok exactly as I thought, apple is awaiting the second update then they will be released at the same time. Now I have heard of them doing this before so I was wondering if this would be the case and it sure seems likely.
Finally was able to finish the game with all challenges won...whew that was a very challenging game considering the imbalances like multiple drops of the same cards and IMHO lousy Algebraic chest drops.
What's the. H in IMHO stand four. Also if this game didn't had adventure theme to it and you knew all the bad and good in this game would you still get it?
To me this update is a new born baby. No one is exactly sure when this miracle is coming out but when it does, I will love the crap out of it, devote most of my time with it and it will be the first thing I have my mind on in the morning and the first thing I dream of when I go to bed. To me, being the owner of this miracle through all the heart aches and heart felt moments will be simply bliss.
With all the complaining over an update and blatant discussion on how to rip off both Apple and Kung Fu Factory, it wouldn't surprise me if Ricci's interactions were few and far between now. There is a definite negative vibe going on in the last few pages of this thread.
Who is "ripping" companies off? Not sure if you have talked to Ricci before but he is a genuinely great guy and person to talk to. No one is ripping anyone off and certainly not me even tho I'm sure your post is completely directed towards me anyways. Duck if your not aware go back and look through the last 15-20 pages and read them. I'm not the kind of guy to rip anyone off and as stated before I am being patient and suggested that we all be patient and let the process work itself out. My reason for being in this forum is to discuses the game. It just so happens that with this wait the conversations tend to be about this update and not the game. If you would like to discuss the game please do I can be a great amount of help if your having any problems. I enjoy talking about strategies the most and deck building. I have 3 really great decks right now and if you would like help in making a deck please let me know and I will certainty help you bud. I wish more of us talked about things like this and got into discussions about cards and decks, it would really help pass the time. read the app store reviews from any country and you will see who's ripping who (cn&kff are ripping us). 4$ for the game and iap with 1$ for a single gem? the extreme f2p system from this game is ripping us. you don't get all the cards not even if you pay 10-100$ 'cos the AR chest gives you just common cards that you end up deleting. i have friends who bought the game for their kids, kids asked to buy some gems and when they opened the ar chest they start screaming and the parents panic ... all asked refounds, just like 60% of the ppl who bought the game and iap. also none from kung fu or cn answer the email you send them. thats why apple gives the refound in day one after you write and report your issues with this game it will be a miracle to see an update with the extreme f2p system being balanced
I'm not one to complain, as I said earlier, I agree that the complains about the update and sayingg that they are ripping is off is slightly uncalled for. But here's me, after spending 18 gems, I get 6 rares. All of which could be gotten as drops from quests. I love this game. I love playing this game, but the drop percentage should be fixed, as soon as possible.
according to Ricci, drop rates will be increased in the next patch to make it more "BALANCE" no idea what that entails? Also Fridays update "supposedly" is suppose to have nearly double the amount of content (not cards but maps etc). The main problemo with this is, WHERE IS THE UPDATE? it's like we should be this update on amber alert. The main problem I have this game is the fact someone mention you can't get every card if you spend a million bucks on it. I'm a grinder I pay a game if I want a card I should have entitle rights to grind for it agree or disagree?
Like I said in response to your initial post about being unhappy, and asking for a refund, I can respect that you're unhappy. But laying out a blueprint on how to basically buy gems,get cards from the gems,ask for a refund for the gems and then buy MORE gems to get MORE cards, guess what? That is totally taking money away from both Apple and Kung Fu Factory for your own personal gain, that is the very definition on scamming the system, and to have this entitled attitude that you should be allowed to do it just because an update is late rolling out is ridiculous. It's the age old: "If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's probably a duck." I mean c'mon, if it looks like a scam,sounds like a scam and seems like a scam, well it's probably a scam. Now, I never said anyone was horrible or evil or anything like that. I will say that the "refund scam" is highly unethical. My point is this,and yes I've read every page of this thread since I started playing and yes you've contributed tons to the community. Your input totally got me through the higher level matches. But my point is this. Slowly but surely, between posts that state "the Devs need to show respect" which I've felt Ricci has always done here, and "here's how you can get a refund on your gems to get more gems", it's not exactly a positive environment for a game developer to come to. I'd like to see certain users to cool out with the negativity. There's over 60 pages in this thread of people totally interacting in a positive manner, then an updated took a few days longer than it should have and it's turned into Lord of the Flies.
